Will never happen. Mike leach is entirely too similar to Brian Kelly. WSU will get close but somehow they'll choke and lose the game.
Leach, Richt, Kelly all decent coaches but they have shown their ceiling height is fairly average. They are competitive in big games but never do enough or always do just enough to get oh so close but oh so far away.

And damn it I want our coach to be the best in the nation.

Damn, if a USC fan that was one frustrating game to watch. Playing withoout your starting left tackle, losing your starting right tackle in the second qtr, and losing yet another starting OL in the third. No denying WSU outplayed USC, but that's way too much talented experience to lose And expect to be able to execute. The WSU defense was the surprise for me....fast and athletic and aggressive. Of course, the USC play calling helped their cause.

It's incredible the amount of "we rule the world" comments comimg from WSU fans.
They are excited yes...but they've already wrote off their remaining games as locks and they'll automatically be in the pac 12 playoff.
Considering Mike leach track record in similar situations I wouldn't count anything as automatic

Good call, Bodi. I think our toughest game remaining now appears to be @ Miami. They looked very good last night, whipping previously unbeaten Duke in Durham, 31-6. USC will still be a very tough game as well; how tough depends on how healthy they are at the time.

SC has some real program problems. It starts with the mindset carryover from the dirty PC regime.
SC seems to have just gone too far to clean up the program. CH is a nice guy. He is well liked.
That does not mean he is the best candidate to be your Head Coach. The entire football staff is
sub par with the exception of DMc.
If SC loses to ND, UCLA and UDUB (all highly possible) do you think the AD will realize the need for change?

Since Helton was named permanent head coach, he's 14-4 with a Rose Bowl win. And you're already calling for him to be fired?
Well, I was addressing a USC fan. Beach has made comments expressing his opinion about CH.
Additionally I have visited SC sites and my question to beach was based upon my reading the SC fans’ postings.
So my question was a good question when directed towards the SC fan.
SC has lost it's sexiness. I think they are going to slide a little bit. Not slide as in be bad, but slide as in become an 8-9 win team every year and not getting stockpiles of 5 star players like they used to.
