How are we feeling about Ohio State game?

I still feel that Freeman and Golden need to go deeper on the bench along the D line. I was watching a program today showing that ND and OSU is typically decided in the 4th quarter. If Cross reinjures his ankle our Tier 1 D takes another major hit. It has to be avoided. No doubt OSU will run it down our throat. That's what I would do. We need to get some bigger boys on that D line as reinforcements sooner than later. ND is tier 1 but no more injuries please..
I was hoping to see more of Sean sevillano
He’s young but big and strong. Help clog up the middle
My guess is if he hasn’t played much he just isn’t good enough yet. Jmo.

No one said the talent level was the same. But it's way closer than you are making it out to be. You only look at recruiting rankings and disregard what you are seeing on the field

Recruiting rankings are telling you for example that Love and Moore aren't elite prospects. So you are holding that view. Well you are incorrect. You have to be able to adjust. You are incapable of nuance. Even F+ adjust throughout the year. You have to be able to use multiple tools
Bump for Chase.

Agree that he is hyperfocused on recruiting and won't budge despite the fact ND just went on a huge run, beating arguably the best recruiting team ( georgia ) soundly.
LOL@ this thread just being one of many examples of me providing level headed, grounded, evidence & data backed analysis of the ND football program and ultimately being proven correct after another very predictable one sided stomp but somehow im the irrational one, the hater, the troll, etc.

Also re: Georgia they were down in 2024 (one of their worst season in the last 4-5 years as per F+). Recruiting is only half the battle but how much production the coaches get out of the talent/roster any given year (as per F+) is also another key part of evaluating a team's efficacy. And Georgia despite being one of the most talented teams in the country weren't producing up to the standard they set over the last sefveral seasons in 2024. Point being, the win was a good one, but not the program changing win that the ND media tried to portray it as. OSU was that team that ND hasn't been able to beat in 30+ years, and they ultimately lost yet again in a one sided stomp.

ND was better in 2024 than they have been in a long time, but still a LONG WAY away from being a national-title-winning-quality-team. Their production/F+ was well behind the pace set by the last 5 national title winners. What is the impediment to being that quality of team? What is the impediment to being able to produce on the level of the last 5 national title winners? THE LACK OF RECRUITING/TALENT PROCURING AT ND RELATIVE TO THEIR COMPETITORS.

I DONT HAVE AN OBSESSION/HYPER FOCUS WITH RECRUITING .... ITS JUST THAT THIS COMPONENT IS THE MASSIVELY OBVIOUS GLARING PROGRAM HANDICAPPING ISSUE THAT IS OBVIOUS AS F'ING ALL HELL .... AND IT JUST DOESNT BUDGE/CHANGE EVER AT NOTRE DAME. MOREOVER, I PROVIDE HEAPS OF DATA/EVIDENCE AND WRITE A BOOK ON THE TOPIC OVER THE COURSE OF 20 YEARS OF POSTING AND DESPITE BEING EXTREMELY ACCURATE REGARDING WHERE ND FITS IN THE BIG PICTURE BASED ON THE BEST EVIDENCE AVAILABLE I STILL EARN ZERO BENEFIT OF THE DOUBT.
