Been listing on X to a ton of UGA media posters.

Most don’t see this as a tough game, all feel it will be a good game but if UGA plays they win.

General statements;

ND has no player in the WR core to worry about, M2M they cannot beat UGA

The OL is very good and Love is a weapon. Account for him anytime he is on the field as the only player we have that is elite

Leonard can pass better than people think but he is a one read and run QB. Contain him with a LB

ND D is not as elite in the secondary as people think, USC exposed this. They just have not played against great receivers outside of USC.

Their run D is top 50, not top 10. UGA will run all over them.

ND will not score much. UGA will be able to run better than ND. Close game,

That’s what the popping from the dog side.

Well let them talk just like Indiana were a good football team I think Georgia is a good football team I see this game being very close just like Vegas does 1-2 point favor for Georgia. .

Agree. Just sharing. It’s interesting to me.

Some of the shows are just homers, some have really good analysis and do their homework. The last I watched they cut plays from all games.

They did say “ND parked the bus” at IU. Just got up, know IU wasn’t capable and didn’t want to show UGA anything much.

They do think ND will folllow the GA Tech game plan, I don’t see RL toting the rock that much.

They also did say ND has much better talent. ND always play better as the UD.

Vegas is predictingGeorgia 23-21

And you were wrong regarding Indiana.
No I wasn’t, I said I had a bad feeling about the game and that I hoped that I was wrong

In the opening portion of the game, that bad feeling became very worrisome as Indiana looked like they were going to score after Notre Dame turned the ball over.

Anybody who says they didn’t get a bad feeling is lying

That would be you

You’re just dishonest

We are going find out how good ND really is. This game will be the measuring stick. You have to win these games if you want to gain respect. Otherwise , a loss just reinforces the same old drum beat.

The D has lost a lot of key players. So I understand why their fans feel the way they do. Plus Christian Gray gets burned a lot. RL will have to come up big in the passing game to win. He's gonna have to take his game up a notch. I would run the ball at their D to try to wear them down. If we try to pass a lot on 1st and 2nd down it could be a long night.

Just my honest opinion. Like all of us I want ND to win this so bad. It’s time.

This team has a very good line, but we had a better line the last time we were in the dance.

Our RB’s are top notch as is our QB. Yea, he misses some but he is the reason we are here and will show up.

Our WR and TE’s are C minus. We usually have amazing TE’s. These guys look slow, drop balls, fumble and can’t beat a CB on a tackle. Our WR cant beat any basic man.

Our kicker is, well we all know.

Our LB and Secondary is elite. Our new DL is depleted by injuries.

UGA is not going to beat us passing. They will go after our banged up line. We have to run on an elite DL and LB’s.

Only way ND wins this is if by some miracle Faison and Raredon go off.

Two things. First and foremost, do not beat yourself. No turnovers, no stupid penalties. Second, be creative on offense. Get the ball to your playmakers in space. Defense has to step up and make plays when it counts. Lastly, special teams has to be perfect. We shall see. Fingers crossed. As the saying goes “ what tho the odds “. Go Irish ☘️

I feel like it will be a close game. We have a qb with little experience. He does hold the Georgia high school passing records, w over 11000 yards. He’s also a runner.
This team has not dominated games, like others in recent years. They have found a way to barely win games. When they are clicking, they can play with anyone. UGA has also been dealing w injuries all season. More than any Kirby team. Other than our QB, we are more healthy than we have been for any game this season. I expect a close game.
Cheers to you all and go Dawgs.

Been reading a lot of various UGA media, social media, etc. Mostly, they are not scared or worried about Notre Dame. I hate to say it, but they're not wrong. Until we actually win a game like this, who can blame them? We're coming in a bit beat up as well.

I expect ND to be able to put some points on the board. TBH, i'm not terribly worried about the offense making plays and doing enough. I'm deathly worried about how well our defense will hold up for 60 minutes. I don't know if Golden can "out scheme" them enough to make up for our lack of depth on the defensive line tbh.

Best case scenario is for our offensive to control the clock, make long, time consuming drives and score points. I just don't think we can afford to put this on the defenses back. UGA is too big up front for that. I think it goes without saying, we have to put them in third and long a lot.

We don't know if they are wrong or not. The game hasn't been played.

I'm not scared of Georgia either

They can beat us. We can beat them. Expect a very good game

ND getting whipped in 2012, 2018, and 2020 BSCG & CFP has hurt the credibility, But, one thing to remember, 2012 Alabama, 2018 Clemson and 2020 Alabama were crazy dominant teams, 2018 Clemson beat ND 30-3, then beat Alabama 44-16 in the FInals. 2020 Alabama beat ND 31-14 and then beat Ohio State 52-24 in the FInals.

The 2018, and 2020 ND teams would have beaten that Indiana team at home, and IMO had a chance to do some damage in 2024 12 team CFP. There are no dominant teams, and that includes Georgia, who have lost 2, and were a whisker away from losing 2 more. If ND plays well, they can certainly beat Georgia, and IMO would be expected to beat the winner of Boise / Penn State

I attended the 2019 ND-UGA in Athens. The Georgia fans I encountered were very gracious and hospitable. Here’s hoping for an injury-free game.

Good points. As to injuries, ND nevertheless is tasked to show it is deep. Which is the mark of an elite team.

I ponder who has it worse with injuries. ND across the board with some key ones? Or Georgia with their starting QB?

Right now I think it hurts ND more, especially Mills. But then I ask myself: how would ND be if the others were healthy, but RL went down?

ND in my opinion would be in deep trouble without RL at this point. I don't believe a good but not great Irish offense could be very effective if we lost him last game of the season.

Suffice it to say, I am growing more confident in the Irish vs Georgia. Saban says QB Stockton is a good runner but not great passer. If true, and I am not expert, but I'm thinking ND stacks the box and dares him to win with his arm against an excellent ND secondary.

We will see.

DRD, thanks for stopping by and providing us with your thoughts. Like you, I expect the Sugar Bowl to be a close game which is to be expected considering the prior three games the two schools have played. How about the two schools getting together for another home and home in the near future?

Are you telling us that you were NOT concerned when ND turned the ball over and Indiana was moving the ball on our defense and looked like they were going to score ?

YES or NO ?

I’m not so sure I agree.

11 teams will lose in this year ‘s CFP

ND is building a culture of success in a new and difficult environment

Success breeds success !

ND will have had a very good season, one to build upon, even with two losses ………
and a GREAT season with just one loss.

The fact is that ND football is competitive and relevant and trending in the right direction

Doesn’t that depend on whether or not you complete those passes ?

I wasn’t concerned at any point during the game from the opening kickoff forward.

The game wasn’t competitive.

No it hasn’t, only one team wins the NC.

The fact that ND competed for the NC so many times is a testament to ND’s football program.

To put things in perspective, what are the graduation rates at Clemson, Alabama, LSU and Ohio State ?

Notre Dame is that rare institution that combines excellence in academics and athletics

Proud to be ND !

Posted something similar. In all 3 losses we lost to the eventual champions and by less than the championship game. We just alway grab the worse draw. I guess the good news for GA is, all championships seem to go thru ND. LOL

Everything you say makes sense and is absolutely true. But you need beat a marquee team. Georgia is as good as it gets. Beat Georgia, perception will change.
