I was told by our resident expert that the SEC & B1G were in a class of their own & the ACC was a trash conference. So imagine my surprise to learn the ACC has a winning record one might say has been dominant vs both conferences. And lets not forget the PAC 12 record vs the B1G yikes..Man guys our expert's math aint mathing...

Why do you care so much about this? All those ACC schools were like double digit favorites in their games yesterday. I would HOPE ranked teams would take care of their unranked overmatched opponents.

The ACC also had some bad losses yesterday. GT got stomped by Ole Miss, Wake almost lost to Old Dominion, VT and Virginia got ripped by Rutgers and Maryland, Pitt lost to a bad WV team.

Because the guy people are calling out says the acc sucks and the Big and SEC are so great. And this year is just not true. He doesn't think teams like NC state could hang with teams like Nebraska etc. And hes a fool and gets called on it

Just some good old fashion trolling bud, we really dont have conference affiliation pride.

One conference added Texas , OU
One added USC, UCLA, Oregon, and Washingtonn
One added SMU, Cal, and Stanford

This is a weird year, the ACC and Pac 12 look pretty good overall, but it doesn’t take a genius (see above) why folks talk about the BIG and SEC differently than the ACC and BIG 12

Yeah....

That Acc has won 2 NCs since the Big last won one....

I watch a ton of PAC12, and frankly Utah, USC, Oregon, Washington, Oregon State, Colorado, Washington State form quite a group.

It's ironic that in its last season, the Pac-12's having one of its best seasons in many years.

Big Ten has 7 bad teams in football

If you want to count hoops ACC has won 6 National Titles in the last 10 years vs 1 for the Big Ten

FSU and Clemson twice in football

UNC , Duke and UVA in hoops.

Syracuse was a double digit favorite ?

I know Ole Miss was a double digit favorite.

Compared to the other P5 conferences, the Pac 12 has the best group of QB's in the country.
And most of them are transfers. Of all their star QBs, I think only Moore from UCLA isn't a transfer.

What’s the point?
The point is that I think the transfer portal has helped level the playing field around the country, to some extent. The Pac-12 wouldn't be doing as well as it is this year without the transfer portal allowing them to get all those good QBs.

And I know we have a transfer QB this year, too. Although grad transfers without a penalty year have been allowed for a long time. Russell Wilson transferred to Wisconsin back in 2011 as a grad transfer.

Because, of course, most of the ACC sucked so bad it enabled the one that won to waltz through the regular season with relative ease.

And they played more stiffs in the Playoffs I guess ?

Ditto in hoops no doubt

You mean Clemson did, ACC did nothing. You sound like a Kentucky fan bragging about SEC titles
Is Clemson in the ACC?

Conference teams who have won a Title this century

ACC - Clemson, FSU, Miami

Big 10 - Ohio State

So you were saying.....

And what would you call OSU bring the only Big team to win anything in 30 years? Lol

And it was Bama who owned the NC trophy for first 10 years since Saban

I never bragged or commented on the B1G, it has been trash outside of a couple teams.

I was going off of your post of winning 2 NCs since the last B1G team won, but yea if you change the parameters then sure.

Yeah, the ACC record against the B1G - or vice versa - only means something when teams are basically even, or close to it. What's the big deal if heavy favorites from one conference beats the crap teams from another.

Yeah, like it or not, college sports is going to come down to money and eyeballs and the B1G markets going forward is staggering. I read with their new West Coast additions, they'll control 53% of all markets in the country in 2024 - that's just mind boggling. They'll be a major player in EVERY college sport - more so than any other conference
