1) we are way under representated here. I know we have no ACC tradition yet and Greensboro is not exactly an Irish hub, but surprised that Irish nation has not discovered this event.
2) The Irish are as balanced a team as I can remember. The balance makes them so difficult to defend.
3) They defend better than I expected, especially Vasturia.
4) Colson was not afraid of the moment, and played like a big boy. He gives the team a desperately needed second big.
5) Jackson was far and away my MVP. He defended, handled the ball, penetrated, and went at Duke like a champ.
6) Furniture land south is amazing. It's like its own mini-city.
7) this team has great chemistry and great heart. It's nice to see the constant support.
8) The ACC could easily have 3 teams in the final 8.
9) Brey was not out-coached by his mentor. Is this his breakout year from nice likable Brey, to elite Brey?
10) I just saw the (sad) Va. Cheerleaders walk out of the lobby to their bus. Things have changed since I was in college.

11) Sad to report, i have seen no one from the Premium Board here. If they showed up at all, they must be at one of the lower priced off-site hotels.

How would you know? Do they wear signs on their foreheads that say "premium" or is it the lack of a sign that says "peasant"? Ahm jus aksin.

This team is playing very well. Knock on wood, but they seem to be a group of guys that relish tournament action as opposed to shrinking from it. I think that comes from leadership on the floor more than Brey.

I'm excited about the future of the BB program. Being an ACC member seems to be helping recruiting. These young guys (recruited since we announced we were headed to the ACC) are legit.

Pretty hard to say where someone went to school from reading their posts. I'm really not too shocked at the absence of Irish fans at the tournament give that it's being played right in the middle of ACC country. We were spoiled playing in the Big East and having the tournament in NYC where N.D. has a huge following. Not so much in North Carolina. Also, given the Irish past post season performance, fans may have been a little hesitant about traveling. Just hope they can keep playing like they have been. They just might surprise everybody, including their own fan base.

Identifying Premium Members is not an exact science, and they do not have "premium" tattooed to their forehead. Generally, I look for guys traveling with their mothers, with some sort of Star Trek clothing, or pet monkeys. It's usually pretty accurate.
