The circus show on full display this year. Fitting as this is the final year for only four teams so it goes out with a true Punch and Judy tribute.

The committee used to say the "whole body of work" LOL...
That got 86'd for let's predict the future.

Three undefeated teams...
Easy, RIGHT?
but wait...
It's not what they DID...as all three teams did was win all their games....
no sir...
not anymore!!
It's now what they "might" do in the future.

ESPN...love(D) saying the whole body of work. For years...
Yep...right up until that body of work meant no SEC teams.
ESPN has a love affair all things SEC football.
ESPN HAS THE PLAYOFF GAMES.

Who is #1 now? Michigan.
The only close loss of Ohio State was to...the now #1 team. Michigan.

The same Bama that WILL NOT play above the Mason Dixon line post halloween. They do love playing in those friendly climates, huh.

FSU...all they did was win all their games. Their starting QB goes down they still won all their games.

The FSU coach has 4 weeks to prepare a backup. All the other players did their part to finish unblemished.
Not good enough.
Why?

If FSU is in...
the SEC would be left out. Can't have that so says ESPN.

Then we might as well put Oregon in there. The lost twice to an undefeated Washington team.

FSU is left out because of their injured QB.
Get Bo Nix in there. Nobody is better than that guy.

They should be in...right?
The PAC12 might have been the toughest conference this year.

ESPN loves saying the "toughest conference" when talking SEC. Except they didn't say that this year.

Perhaps the SEC's losing record against the ACC?

Oh well...

This year they got neither the four best nor four deserving teams in.

Then just crown the Top 4 on Sept 1st. Everybody certainly believes the Bills are a Top team in the NFL but it’s not proved by a committee in a ball room, it’s decided on the field. He’s right, If this was any conference, FSU would be in- there’s cash involved - a lot of it.
