In case some of you wonder why ND loses by one point to a Georgia team now ranked top ten and we fall way out of all rankings...
And a team like OSU (Ohio) and FSU can lose and take nearly no hit for the loss....
FSU is now 0-2 and still ranked 25.
We lose a one point affair with a now top ten team and fall off the earth.
That's all laughable but the reason why and it's not right but it's a fact..
Reputation.
Our reputation as of late is that of a not very good football team. We've not earned the right to be awarded a mulligan for a bad game so to speak.
Holtz teams were treated very fairly but they earned that.
The above might not be correct but it's a way of life.
Just some thoughts on it all.
If we keep winning, and the SC date looms very large, we'll be right in the thick of things come November.
