If I'm Brian Kelly I'm using this as big motivation.
Here are some reasons could/should win.
We have an awesome offensive line
Hopefully, they bring the fight to Ohio State like the LSU game.
We have great receivers.
We have a great QB
We have Sheldon Day, Jarron Jones, Daniel Cage, Isaac Rochell.
Jaylon Smith.
We have the hottest kicker in the country.
I'm so f'ing sick of Ohio f'ing State.
F*ck them.
(We lost in 95,96,2005).
It's our turn.
I'm so sick of them.
They have a lot of their writers predicting a blowout.

Get this done!
Be more physical. Want it more.
Win this game!

I like ND matching up with OSU. Add in the 'behind the scenes' divisiveness going on for OSU (brushes with police, players declaring for the draft, etc.) while ND is staying 'team focused'.

Notre Dame will win this game. I am not usually so confident. But we all watched this team this year. There is something very different about this years ND team. More than any other ND team, this one reminds me of a Holtz type squad. They just refuse to give up. Sure they lost two heartbreakers. But both those losses could have been wins too. They have been tested and are a hardened group. It will be a battle. But in the end, Notre Dame will find a way to win. 38 to 31, Irish.

On paper, OSU seems to have the nod....Our D line versus their O Line is probably a wash. Our linebackers (except Jaylon) have struggled this year. Our secondary has struggled in coverage all year, especially after losing Tranquil. Toss in losses to KR, Max and Butler OSU will score. Our offense, when DK is on and the receivers are focused (no drops) is difficult to stop. If ND brings the same passion as they did against USC id say ND has the nod. If we bring the turn over machine we brought into Clemson, OSU gets the NOD. On paper, due to injuries, they have more weapons. Heart, probably ND. Do we play clean or do we turn the ball over? Blowout? Not sure why anyone would think its a blowout. We played some very good teams this year and could have been 12-0

How many of them predicted an Ohio State national championship last year, or this year?

Minus every one of those that called that one wrong. And get back with me.

IB, The Irish are so close. I believe if ND stays the course (with all the great recruiting and player development) that the NC dry spell will be over.
What say you? Do you think Brian Kelly can get us there?

Notre Dame is littered with NFL type talent. Will Fuller ! CJ Prosise ! Josh Adams ! Tori Hunter Jr. ! The entire Oline ! Deshone Kizer ! Jaylon Smith ! Sheldon Day ! Jaron Jones ! Isaac Rochelle ! Justin Yoon ! CJ Sanders ! Romeo Okwara !

Notre Dame is loaded even with all the injuries !

This is not the Irish team of 2005 who had heart but lacked speed !

Tomorrow, the Irish shock the World !

Go Irish !!
Beat Ohio State !!

Can he? Absolutely, will he? who knows. The injuries the last two years have been insane.

Pros:
Better schedule set up next year
Plenty of talent vs the teams they face
None of the teams (save MSU) have extended periods off before ND next year

Cons:
Lose some key players (Jaylon, Jarron, *Fuller, *Prosise, Stanley,) and a lot in the 2 deep
If ND drops 1 game, they lose control of their destiny, and with an 'easier' schedule next year they can't afford to be 11-1, without a CCG they are almost screwed if they lose just 1.
Kelly hasn't said or shown he has an answer to the injury bug
Kelly has a problem in big games. Much like Bob Stoops. And can't be depended on. (I pray I get proven wrong on this tomorrow)

Meyer has more big game experience. I would like to see CJ. Sanders play the slot position and break one for a TD.

AAyyyyyyyy!

Both teams are bad in the Red Zone when on offense. Which ever team has the better RZ offense wins. Just my prediction.

I think you are right about the redzone and I think OSU will let ND move the ball between the 20s and clamp down in the redzone, forcing field goals while they score TDs against our poor defense. I think they win handily.

Why shouldn't they predict sound Ohio State victories? I am sure any Ohio State fan looking at our site and seeing our guys predicting victory is thinking "delusional homer".

I believe that when playing a complete game at our best we are capable of beating any team in the country. I haven't seen that since the Texas game, but it will need to happen today if we are going to win.

Stanley vs Bosa will be a key matchup! if Stanley even gets a stand off in this battle then the ND offense can function at it's normal tempo. If Bosa is a totally disrupting force then the ND offense might turn into a turn over machine.

No it's OSU's offense vs a very depleted ND secondary. Do you really think Nick Watkins and Mathias Farley can hang with the OSU receivers?
