Hooray! The Irish are on a win streak! Let's keep it going.

The weather will be an x-factor in this one. A year ago I was concerned about the rain in Death Valley, but ND kept it close against Clemson. This time the rain and early start will negate the home field advantage for the Pack.

On paper NC State seems formidable, but their numbers are padded by a weak opening schedule.

I believe the defense will continue the slow road to recovery, but the game ball will go to Kizer. His legs and smart decisions in the rain will be the difference.

ND -- 41
NCST -- 31

Who do you have and why?

Defensive growing pains will show more than they did against the Orange.

ND-33 (ND returns another PAT for 2 points)
pack-28

I had this one as a loss going into the season and nothing has changed my mind. NC State will have a couple of long TD runs in sloppy conditions.

NC State- 24
ND-17

Only reason ND keeps them under 30 is because of the weather. This NC State QB is completing almost 73% of his passes. Imagine that going up against ND's defense in good conditions? Ouch.

If the wind from Hurricane Matthew blows ... both QBs may have trouble keeping their lofty passing percentages up.

Which team would wind hurt the most? Who has the better running game?

ND 48-NC State 45

I live in Vero Beach FL, I might need some score updates off the board.

For the love of God, PLEASE beat MooU!!! They don't know how to deal with success and they will treat your visiting fans like garbage. I will be pulling for y'all.

They were not very gracious fans at the Gator Bowl back in 2002. Kind of pricks actually.

Why is everyone so worried about NCSTU's defense? They've beaten 2 FCS schools and Wake Forest. I think the numbers are slightly askew if you just look at their "rankings"

no defense in this game (unless it is by way of Matthew); this is gonna be a shootout of a wild kind!

I have called Coastal nc to check on my beach house and the coming storm . I was told that the storm will
hit far to the South of NC , and it will only hit us with a lot of rain and heavy winds. Even evacuation from
the Island is on a voluntary basis at this point. My beach house is located just about 30 miles from
Myrtle Beach. So based upon the information that I have, the game will be played but the conditions will
be very wet and windy . A real sloppy field and playing conditions .

Are we the first team ever to do that twice in one year?

We were involved the first time it ever happened. Rice in 1987. Haven't seen if any one else has two in a season. We will need a few Saturday, as ND's poor record in this situation gets worse (on road, vs. public school they rarely play)

NCSU 41-37. I hope Sarah is ok with this
