Good gosh Cole Luke is horrible. 3rd and long and you are fricking watching what is going on in the backfield. That is stuff kids learn in grade school. Wh yin the hell would he turn his back on the only receiver in his portion of the zone. Unbelievable. We will not win many games this year that is for sure with that so called defense.

Kelly is not the problem. Neither is BVG. The administration gave up on football in 1996. Makes no difference who coaches this team in fairness. It is a fact Kelly struggles on game day and in The RZ. That said, who would Notre Dame get that would be better? They aren't willing to spend the coin it takes and do the things necessary to compete that it takes. This is Notre Dame football now. As Kelly said after Tulsa " The fans had better get used to it." After 2 plus decades, we are.

Because he didn't know his coverage.. he probably thought it was the S responsibility. This has been the same thing for 3 years now, the player are never on the same page because BVG's defense is too damn complex for CFB

He was Excellent at GVSU. Little school in Grand Rapids. Did well at CMU and Cincy. Giant step up to ND. Really struggles against good teams. He is who we thought he was.
