Vegas has the game at 36-12 ND (rounded)

ND is a 24 point favorite.

No way ND covers 24 points. This team is horrible.
This game will be truly telling. UNLV is much improved but that’s not saying much. They’re still pure trash. If MF doesn’t notch at least a two TD win Saturday it’s going to get really ugly at ND the next 2-3 years.

24 points seems high, but I’ve learned that Vegas isn’t building billion dollar hotel/casinos because they lose money.

Vegas is predicting the equivalent of 5 TD’s.

What do they know that we don’t ?

Freeman (aka Mr. "we have to execute better") will figure out a way to screw it up....take the points!

Nothing positive comes easy to this team.

You would have to want to lose money to take the Irish at this point.

The point spread is holding at 24.5, evidently there’s no imbalance in the money being bet.

The spread should move by Saturday at the latest, time will tell

Supposedly UNLV do everything QB is in concussion protocol.

UNLV is attrociously bad, especially in defense. we were able to move the ball up and down on UNC, a team that has a similarly poor defense although UNLV‘s is worse.

Well, they were wrong twice already. Marshall and Stanford.

When it comes to sports betting Vegas makes its money on the vig. They set the lines based on where they believe the money is going to equal out. The line moves up or down depending on which way the money starts to lean. It's pretty much a zero sum game.

That’s not how the opening line is established.

it’s the opening line that gets adjusted as the bets roll in.

Evidently ND money was out weighing UNLV money at 24 points.

Hard to believe

The line is now up to 27 points !

Which is indicative that ND money is coming in.

But the O/U hasn‘t moved much.
