You're right me being happy with today's win is what is keeping the program down. What was I thinking? Obviously our O needs imptovement.

That doesn’t mean he’s infallible with his football opinions. Go get the best talent. Simple as that. Then decide who gives you the best chance to win and start that player.
If you are not showing signs of being able to compete with top 5 type teams (Texas, Alabama, Georgia, OSU, etc.) in the playoff then what is even the point? It's national title or bust.
A win is nice in the stat column, but is anybody convinced Notre Dame wouldn't get boat raced by any of the top teams in the SEC right now? Im certainly not.
That should be the goal agreed. But that is not who this team is. Making the playoff would be a good start.
Even in this stupid offense RL has forced us into there's no ****ing way he should carry the ball more than JL! Incompetence on full display from every coach that has input on this Offense! Love is a superstar who is being shackled by all of the above!

If you think RL was the only problem, then you don't know football. There were lots of mistakes all around; 2 fumbles putting D in horrible position, false starts, dumb penalties, drops by WRs, blown blocks, etc. It's a team game.
It'll be a tough challenge to go 11-1. Every team remaining is decent. Even Stanford beat Syracuse last week on the road. And the service academies are both 4-0. USC will be tough in the Coliseum.
Do you really believe Leonard is the best option available to ND?
That blows my mind, I don’t mean that to sound like a personal shot. He’s just not very good.
Our last drive was terrible, too. One first down would've ended the game, but we couldn't get it. Fortunately, the D came through at the end.

Our last drive was pathetic as well. I wish I could share my text prior to it. I sent my two buddies (Domers) a text saying “here is where we run-run-run-punt”.
Though I did say I thought UL would tie and win in OT.
I respect that. It frustrates me when people cry only after the fact. It’s not that I’m not looking at the whole picture. We just have different views on what’s acceptable. I don’t think it was greedy or stupid for either decision in that spot.
4th and 1 is not greedy in the first half, down 10, on the 15 IMO.
Do they get anyone in the trenches back from injury soon? Really need the extra bodies at this point. Glad they held on at the end. Really didn't like how Louisville made sure they were hitting after the whistle more often than not. You could tell it's in their coaching with how consistently it occurred.
I hear you. Yes, absolutely I think he’s the best option. He’s a stud running the ball and the offensive line is struggling. You really want a QB that can do damage with his legs.
It’s unfortunate we can’t peek into a crystal ball and see the results with Angeli or another QB. I think ND loses to A&M. His demonstrated history of throwing the ball at Duke is better than what ND fans have seen at ND.
But I will say. There are some head scratching coaching things going on. But worst coached is so hysterical. Overreacting for sure.

It's early but, can 1 person HONESTLY say BB isn't 1000% better coach than what we have? Why?? ILLINOIS, REALY...MY HOME STATE??? This says it all for me and whatever you come back w/ you're wrong! Shouldn't ever be this way and that's why we're Still The Same...Bullet Bob never lied!
Edit 7-7 PSU is good and Franklin the buffoon is also better than our MAC coach!

This kid Altmeyer throws darts on slants that RL dreams of. Then he gets them to jump and takes a shot, perfect pass and the db has to grab or it's 6, pi...he made 3 great plays on 1 play...RL, 👍 🤣
And Alabama is still well coached! Sure they have great players but, those players are executing beautifully against the current dynasty of CFB which, is still loaded and has Kirby...we or so far away, the fact we have MF is laughable that I was duped by his personality...Alabama goes from the goat to a guy that coached in the NC game last year! Alabama serious, ND NOT. Don't bring $$$ or academics up cause we've been missing coaches like this for 28 years and most x's we don't even try!

You have to bring up money.
The teams at the top of the SEC take football seriously and invest in a tier 1 product. ND does not.
ND keeps the purse closed (minus the coordinator investments this past offseason) but celebrates/promotes the team like its some juggernaut destined for a national title.
