Just thought I would post a list of things I really liked last night. Loss stinks and the main coaching thing I'll say is I HATED the two point conversation call, but BK is a good coach and these are rare. Getting that out of the way, here is my list:
1. Our defense played well. They were constantly put in horrible spots with poor field position, turnovers etc. They only looked bad on the opening drive and tightened up the rest of the game and when we needed a stop, they got it.
2. Kizer. Kid is playing his guts out and is developing nicely. His numbers should have been even better with all the drops.
3. I like the fight of this team overall, that is a game they could have packed in. Bad weather, sloppy play with turnovers. They didn't. Let's see how this team responds, but I think it will be well.
4. We have a deep team. It has been said before I know. It is being tested. This will pay dividends as the season rolls on and it already has.
Loss stinks, I hate losing, but this was a heckuva effort in miserable conditions and I saw a lot to like.
