Decided to watch the NC game. A few take aways.

FSU’s DL looked pretty good. NC had a tough time running to start. They also put some good pressure on the QB. Harris from UGA was disruptive.

Secondary didn’t look great. Not sure if it was the coverage or talent but UNC could toss it just about anywhere.

On Offense, that FSU line looks banged up, new or just bad. They couldn’t do much of anything.

Their QB had a few nice passes but for the most part looks like a new starter. Inconsistent. Missed some oppty. Probably a diff guy next year.

They were leading early but the game got away from them, they just packed it in.

That’s what I noticed. Get on them early like ugly on an ape and should be fine.

FSU offense r is about the 2-3 spots away from being dead last in multiple offensive stats. They are bad, bad, bad. Defense is respectful, but of course they can't score touchdowns.

I guess they do have a fair amount of raw talent. Athletes and such. Seemingly that's about it, and they're just not a good football team at all. Hard to lose to almost. And we're at home. Almost like a need to make a statement game. Need to really hammer them and win by thirty or forty, or it's a negative. Maybe that's a stretch. But definitely don't want it to be at all close. That wouldn't look good.

With the exception of SMU which I did not watch, so I will assume a few defensive scores they rarely give up more that 30 pts.

Miami won by 18 two weeks ago. It’s usually 28-10, 31-16 kinda thing.

I, like all want, a blow out but this one if we don’t have the right kind of mind set and get going early could be interesting with their athletes.

Hard to fathom that happening to a Program like FSU but it goes to show you it can happen to anyone.

Those guys were unbeaten last year.

Look at Michigan-----not as bad but they still stink.

Their opponent in the Championship Game Washington stinks.

Welcome to the new reality.

With Charlie Weis, ND went from the Sugar Bowl to 3-9. That's pretty bad, pretty precipitous. But this tops it. FSU should have been in the playoff, undefeated, even won their CCG without their QB which is nominally what got them snubbed. Almost proving that they were a good, strong team and program through and through. And now this. A single win they've eked out thus far. Almost literally from undefeated to winless. Incredible.

I bet you the committee feels quietly very validated. They just wanted to get Bama in however they needed to do it. But still, it doesn't hurt....

The thing is though FSU is significantly worse than the others mentioned. They're not even remotely competitive. In 2016 ND was 4- 8 and it was awful but 7 of the 8 losses were one score games or less. They were in every game except for the season finale at USC. FSU is a total meltdown.

This fsu team is like our 07 team

I am sure that the players of FSU quit a while ago. In the previous era you could motivate them with playing time for next year. I don't know how Norvell could do that when the players can just get an NIL deal to play somewhere else next year.
