I watched game 1, GT.....GT had little issues running the ball. FSU had the X-Clem QB, was inaccurate as heck...

They are loaded with 4 star talent, some 5.......I dont follow them or live near them.....How can that much talent be 1-8? Are they just injury riddled? Are players sitting out now for the draft? Lets hope they dont save their year this weekend but does anyone on the board know what the heck happened to this team after a 12-0 run last year?

They are talented but not "that" talented. Trying to build your team every year through the portal is a dangerous game. Chemistry, buy in, culture is hard to build with changing parts year after year

Also, their offense is atrocious. QBs are all well below average. The rbs are below average. Wrs can't catch

And the coach is overrated

Why did Mike Norvell beat Clemson and Louisville in 2023, teams Marcus Freeman lost to?

Great college qb and very talented roster

Norvell is an average coach and on the hot seat

But I know I know, he makes a lot of money and it's a "tough business"

1 win in his last 10 games coaches

Tough Business

Then write a check for 70 million. While you are at it, write checks for the coordinators, etc. who received extensions after last season. Then go find another 100 million for the next head coach.

USC could beat us straight up in the colesseum, FSU is just a broken team it seems like. Almost one of the easiest wins on the schedule. I suppose they could pull it all together, we're their Super Bowl and play inspired football. You never know, but they seem so bad, it's hard to visualize that.

I just wonder if they're going to fire him. I definitely would. But he has like a 50 million buyout, which is unreal to consider. He was never a sure thing hire at all, why would you ever commit yourself to that kind of expense considering the very real possibility of him sucking and needing to fire him.

From a look at the stadium this past week I’d guess he will be replaced by the IU or Ole Miss coach.

That will be in consideration. Just like it a for Jumbo

They may do a Jack Swarbrick and force him to fire several coaches and make big changes. Give him 1 more year and if he struggles next year cut him loose

But if they go 1 and 11 this year and lose to Charleston Southern all bets are off

Because he had a really good team last year full of top portal talent. Last season certainly is looking more and more like a Cinderella season for FSU. Norvell has clearly lost his team. They're not even competitive. The only thing that may be saving his job is the contract. Tough spot for FSU, can't afford to keep him or fire him.

The Lincoln Riley buyout is 90 million.

Fantastic work if you can get.
