We were only missing one starter on offense? Do you even follow ND football? We scored 28 on a really good defense with the limited time they had the ball. Offense is not the issue. I suggest going back and watching the last two years of ND football then get back to us.

Probably because ND had a somewhat average 9-4 season and ND hasn't played them since...easy to forget
Kelly has clearly improved the ND foitball situation in general. But there was a huge area of improvement to be made.
What happens between now and NLI day will be telling. Close the class strong without defections is the goal and really a must. Keep the talent needle pointing upwards.
Regarding big W's, the most troubling thing is the record in major bowl games, at 0-4 and being outscored at a rate of more than 2:1. We have seen the ND team look less than prepared in the 2 major bowl appearences. How can a fan not notice nor be a bit concerned about that?

the number of created ID's on game day gives indication 'they were ready' and prepared for the eventuality! Their creation of ID's was prolific!

I care about ND football. That is why I don't want to switch Coaches every time they lose. I think some won't take the time to look objectively at the situation. It's much simpler to say the coach must suck. Truth is ND played with second and third string players all year. They stepped in and played with some of the best in the nation, but they weren't the best that ND had. I know of a guy who went to both ND and Ohio States preseason practices. He said there really was no comparison in team talent. He said OSU was bigger, faster and quicker. He said the two guys who looked like they could even play on OSUs squad were Jaron Jones and Jaylon. Well Jones didn't play a single down in regular season and Jaylon played little in our head to head with OSU.
