Will be Irish on Friday. Notre Dame has its W receiver for this class in the 6'4.5, 195lb Jones, from Illinois. Add another 4 star, top 200 player to the 2018 class.

I like Jones a lot.

I think he has even more athletic potential than Boykin (who I still like as well) with similar size, strength, and frame.

He doesn't have quite the athletic ceiling of Claypool, but he's a bit more polished

Comparable to Mo Stovall in my mind. Will be 220lbs when he's all said-and-done. Very similar player coming out of high school.

I don't know what to think about him. He is the lowest rated receiver we are after. I can't tell if he is fast from his film. It shows he catches balls easily but it does not show any 50-50 catches. I just have read that he has real height and can high point the ball. The staff has been unrelenting in pursuing him.
