Kizer...the good. Height! Wonderful having a qb that isn't looking into the numbers of the lineman in front of him.
His pocket presence is good. His fear factor is low and he waits the seven days strong to make that throw. That is GREAT!!!
Bad....the really bad....often he stares at his target from snap to throw. No looking off whatsoever.
If the pocket breaks down and he bails, then he is forced to find other options. But from snap to throw most times he is telling the whole world where he is throwing.
This must get better asap. We have a track team as wideouts and it would help tremendously if he could look some defender's off.
The other thing is he doesn't step into his throws enough. The result is an inaccurate pass. It might be caught but our receiver has to stop or drop to the knees.
We need to get these throws on time so our athletes can run without missing a beat.
