I think that Bodi may be correct that we will wear down the NC defense ? But unless our Ofense comes alive
Anything can happen ? Hopefully , we stop NC 3 and out to start the second half ? If NC scores, they will

our star QB is on the bench .. our starting QB is a 3 star soph. making his first start ... our top 3 rbs are either injured or playing hurt ... it's pouring rain .. the offense is still moving the ball and we're up 12 points.
no complaints here.
No crap here, was just thinking the same thing. WR's not getting separation and a lot of drops.

for all the complaints of Wimbush inability to pass ... it's his dominance with the read option/threat to run that really makes this offense/running game go. hopefully he gets over this bum foot and returns 100% vs USC.
The playcalling in this one has gone away from our strengths. Run in the red zone. It's a tested formula but nope just have Book throw it.

Eric Hansen has said multiple times that........in practice........there is a huge drop off from BW to IB but many want to look at Ian's Spring game as his coming out party.
I know UNC is a mess on offense with all of their injuries to their skill players .. but would be nice if the defense started to get some respect for the athletic plays being made on defense.
Jay Hayes, Daelin Hayes, Nyles Morgan, Shaun Crawford, Jerry Tillery, Julian Okwara, Tevon Coney, Greer Martini (the entire front 7 basically) all making plays all over the field against a healthy 1st team offensive line.

What a defense ! Without this defense ND would look pretty average ! With this defense, no telling just

Be nice if Josh Adams can actually play more than 1 of every 3 series on offense. He's a total game breaker.

I could be wrong but i thought maybe Kelly was resting him as much as possible with the depth at running back.
For McIntoshs size he is tougher than I expected and shifty speed if he gets a seam. Glad to see him getting experience.

If ND is to score 40, it will be by just a simple dive play because I don't think BK has the will to pour it on.

it wasn't pretty? we just demolished a P5 opponent with a back up QB making his first start and our 3rd and 4th string RBs getting most of the carries.
Proud of this team. Covered the spread plus 10. Defense played well and forced more turnovers. Another physical performance. Only one rushing TD allowed in 6 games and 23 rushing TD's. No gimmicks. Physical on both sides of the ball. Even with the sloppy execution on offense still exerted our will. 340 yards rushing. Go Irish.
Good win with back up QB. McIntosh was impressive in this game, had thought he went down to easily before but had some nice hard runs tonight.
You really think a late TD impresses the committee ? Give them a little credit.
