The spread is designed, mostly, to balance betting. They were not right on this game.

That’s not true, the spread and the over/under are indicators of what Vegas thinks the final score will be.

Both move with the incoming flow of money

I’ll bet you weren’t thinking that when it looked like Indiana was going to score early and go up by 7 until there was an interception on the 2 yard line.

That's a disingenuous comment. Indiana got an interception and was driving for a TD early in the 1st Quarter, and Watts got an interception at the 2 yard line to prevent a score.

As I stated, except for the opening kickoff, the game was never close.

Again, you're wrong. it was several minutes into the game, not just the kickoff. Each team had two offensive possessions prior to ND scoring its first TD.

The game was never close, Indiana was never a threat to win, Notre Dame thoroughly outplayed Indiana.

That's all true. But were you ever nervous during the game. I wasn't. Even if they got a TD there, we had more talent the better team and coaches and I was there and the environment was great

We weren't losing that game and it didn't matter if they scored there or not

No they didn't. We had 1 possession we threw an int. The next time we touched the ball Love went 98 yards. Then the next time we got out we had a 16 play drive.

After 3 drives it was 14 to 0 and the game was over

Once ND scored yes, Indiana never threatened again, but you are wrong to say that ND had the game win at their place kickoff.
