Hartman needs to stay healthy

I guess it'd be nicer to have TB than Angeli as a backup, but I figure Angeli could step up tolerably enough if he had to. One of the advantages of TB transferring out, is we don't have any stupid platoon system we'd feel compelled to implement. Thank god for that. We can let SH do what he's going to do, play all four quarters, and let the chips fall where they will, and put our best foot forward with our best QB.

So I think we're okay. He probably won't get injured. And if so, Angeli outplayed TB in the spring game anyway...

I would pay money for you to say that to an Alabama fans face. It's good enough for the greatest coach of our era, but not this moron.
You make a good point, Saban had to be intimately involved in the decision to bring Buchner to Alabama to the degree that he was the final and sole decision maker in deciding to accept or reject Buchner.

And, when you look at the incredible level of talent that Saban has evaluated and accumulated at Alabama over the last decade, you know that Saban didn’t approve of Buchner’s transfer into Alabama as a favor to Rees.

Every year something bites ND in the but as if they were cursed. ND went from having the best ND room in decades to being one injury away from having a true freshman and a red shirt sophomore who has no real game action on the 11th hour being the portal closes on Monday, buts let’s face it who would want to come to ND to sit behind SH for their last year. The takers are few and far between.
I have nothing against the backups but my confidence is very low versus TB who I believe is making a huge mistake by going to Bama. It would have been wise to get his degree with two years of eligibility left to do what he wants with. Somebody got into his head
AND………..WHAT defensive player needs to stay healthy?…?

Saban doesnt allow his ego to interfere with his goals. There is zero chance that Saban wasn't on board with the move.
