In the last week or so you can tell which schools put a lot of emphasis on their football program and which do not. You tell me which schools are which.

A very good coach who took over a struggling team and let go of numerous players that did not fit his model of a player. With only three years and records of 6-7, 5-7, and 5-7 and losing to Kansas they fired him. Basically he never got a chance to develop and play with the kids he recruited.

Another school whose coach was 37-16 over four years with records of 11-2, 13-2, 9-4 and 4-8 and took his team to the championship was fired. He only had one losing season during the four years.

Another school still retains their coach after seven years with records of 8-5, 8-5, 12-1, 9-4, 8-5, 10-3, and 4-8. This includes numerous off the field issues, will not change philosophy, does not take responsibility for actions and has to vacate winds from the two best years. This includes loses to Tulsa, Duke, and Navy at home as well as coaching blunders that a high school coach would not make.

It is evident that ND is clearly worried about the money and not about football.

Correct.

It has long been NDs unofficial mantra to not be seen as a "Football Factory" !

Not only has the UND achieved it's goal - they have been able to perpetuate this reputation and at the same time create at least some illusion that they intend to be truly competitive......GOAL ACCOMPLISHED!
