Can we please get a tally of who thinks retaining BK

I don't think they're happy. I think they are resigned to the fate that he IS coming back, and as fans, we should support him. If it were my call, I would've made a change. BK coming back means he has my support. I'm not optimistic that we'll win 10 games next year, but I'm hoping for the best. I'll be more optimistic as we get closer to Aug/September.

When Swarbrick said Kelly would be back in 2017 the board was full of post on the matter. I will be rooting for ND every year whether I like the coach or not, in this case Kelly.
When lou holtz had 6 win season...he had support...because the team was on the cusp of really good. They played hard etc...
This debacle on display called football by Brian Kelly should garner NO AUTOMATIC support.

I have not been critical of BK or JS. Having said that. no coach in his 7th season who goes 4-8 should be retained. I have never been more pessimistic about ND'S FB future. The problem is if BK gets fired I have no faith in the administration's dedication to the fb program or it's ability to hire a new coach.
I'll support the players, but I will not support Kelly. He's a classless jerk.
So, what's the point of this topic? Continue this childish war of words? To shut down any reasonable differing opinion? Chest pounding? Continue the creative ways of insulting fellow Irish fans anonymously? Perhaps even find an excuse to post insulting cartoons and videos, only they aren't even the creation of the poster but rather "borrowed" from the talent of someone else. I don't know how many different ways it has been spelled out that there are probably not many, if any, BK supporters left, only those who support the players. It doesn't matter though, because this insult fest is just too much fun. Some here will not be happy until every last poster with intelligent ideas have been driven away. I am 100% certain that some here are losing sleep over the retaining of BK and Jack and have spent countless hours doing research on how BK and Jack has spoiled their plans of bragging rights and living through 19 year old student-athletes.

Nobody says you can't have a different opinion, but that doesn't mean we can't have a different opinion and voice that penetration opinion. ND owes BK too much money. Period . That extension is the sole reason he is still here. This team is not on the rise and the program is a mess.

Actually that's not at all what that statement means. It's about the government robbing the haves to give to the have nots in an overt attempt to curry favor with the have nots.

There are more welfare people .. disability people... that have absolutely zero intention to ever get off.

I don't consider myself among the group of intelligent posters, so, we both have that in common. You can role play as the board hard ass all you want but looking at it in a grown up mature way, BK and Jack will both be back and there is nothing any of us can do about it. . The 2017 team can quite possibly go 6-6 or they can go 10-2. No one knows and that includes you.
Why? To call people out a year from now? Got nothing else going on in your life?

You're original post basically says you're marking down anyone with a differing opinion and will be called out if the team has a losing record next year. You're the one drawing the line in the sand.
