I'm in my late 50s. My mother has been dead for 15 years. I haven't lived at home for close to 40 years. But this miserable coaching job has now freed me, starting next weekend, to go down in my own basement and start clearing out the decades of junk that my family has accumulated instead of wasting my Saturdays watching this crap. So for that, I'm thankful to Kelly.

Come on beach. Have you read the past few weeks comments from those that want BK gone? You think those are persuasive? There is no middle ground with this place. Either you're with a particular side or you'er the enemy. A couple of these "fans" were having such a hissy fit yesterday, they actually start blaming Ara and that guy is one of the most non threatening contributors on this board.
Ara and a few others have had very little trouble trash talking and hurling insults at other posters; simply because they did not share the same opinion.
They need not apologize, a simple "we were f'n wrong and you guys were f'n right' will suffice!.

all boards have idiots on every side of an issue. I think it is best to avoid the temptation to join them.
The definition of insanity is to continue doing the same thing and expect a different result. .. in that vein it's necessary for ND to move on from BK if ND expects to remain relevant in CFB. He is in fact a lousy coach with an arrogant nature in which he subordinates the good of the program to his ego. His way or the highway ie never ever go under center even if your playing in a hurricane and while we're at it let's throw the ball 30x in same said hurricane. We've seen enough of Brian Kelly and his cronies at ND.
As BK's agent wouldn't your time be better spent trying to find him his next job?

IMHO, Kelly's coaching style is strictly collegiate - could never see him or his 'system' working in the NFL, it doesn't even work in college
well, NFL or college; any other gig but ND. Kelly is not unaware of the situation he is in.

If any of our players read this message board and the frantic hysteria, complete with all the obligatory insults, what do you think their opinion of this fan base would be? Especially the thread that questions their heart. This place has been brutal the last couple of days and it's been made brutal by people who have no power to change anything about the situation. The situation will rectify itself when the people with the actual power decide it's time and no feet stomping , holding your breath, cursing, hating, attacking, blaming, questioning the players heart, claiming you know people of power who has started the process, will change a damn thing one second earlier than it's supposed to happen. NCST just may have been BKs Waterloo but it's not for any of us to decide. I'm attending the game Saturday just like I have for the last 50 years and I'm going to have myself a great time. I've waited too long during the off season for the ND football schedule to start and nothing is going to take away from that. Besides, it's college football, not life and death.

^ T.Smart yea, I been reading around that stuff myself. Trying to just focus on job performance, I am not one that has a taste for 'blood' or wants a turn at twisting the knife.
I think the defense knows they have sucked. Haven't seen a ton of throwing the players under the bus here. It's been pretty much all about Kelly.
