I hate to say it or see it, but the coaches lost that game. I don't know what the game plan was on offense or the substitution plan was on defense, but neither made any sense. What a shame.

At the start of the game, I thought Parker was the main issue with this team. Now, I realize This is a Freeman led issue we have. Freeman collapsed today. I didn’t think it would happen…im shocked and upset, worried for this program.

The Freeman honeymoon is over.

3rd and 2, Parker/Freeman call in a conservative run play that gets blown up because it’s obvious to the entire world it’s a run play. 4th and 11 now Freeman/Parker decide to go for it with over 9 minutes left….

The coaching staff is lost, Freeman is lost, Parker is an amateur that was promoted to OC. It shows. I don’t know where we go from here, Freeman has to evaluate his entire program and himself. The ND leadership has to help Freeman evaluate his staff. Freeman is in over his head, Parker is too.

There’s a chance Freeman’s OC and DC are gone after this year. Rightfully so. I’m as lost as freeman right now. That’s it.

When you take out the Jeremiyah Love fake punt and the Sam Hartman scrambles and sacks, Notre Dame averaged 4.08 yards per carry against Duke. Not bad, but not up to its season average of 5.58.

I examined why the Irish couldn't get the ground game rolling against Duke.

I’ll be arriving shortly at Fishers (Ind.) Hamilton Southeastern on Friday evening to watch 2024 offensive tackle commit Styles Prescod.

I saw Prescod play in person twice last year so I’m curious to see his development and growth at the position. Prescod and the Royals are 6-1 and host Indianapolis Franklin Central (4-3).

Inside ND Sports will have live updates on Prescod's play below in this thread with key takeaways I have throughout the game. I'll also be shooting video and getting clips of Prescod sorted and published by Saturday morning.
