Stanford upsets Prime Time:

Somehow lowly Stanford with a 1-4 record, now 2-4 record manages to throw for nearly 400 yards with 4 TD’s. Their talented WR catches 13 passes goes for 294 yards and 3 TD’s.

How come other programs filled with average athletes can generate these type of numbers while Jared Parker’s offense looks like a high school FR team?

Tommy Rees’s offense that Parker has decided to continue using doesn’t work in college, especially ran by Parker that doesn’t understand it himself. ND has a 6th QB that has looked mediocre for 3 weeks straight. Imagine next year when a true FR is leading this team at QB?

Stanford upset the Buffs on the road in overtime. Great game for them. ND better be ready to execute in Palo Alto on Nov25th

Michigan 2019 Game

I am hoping we can replicate what Michigan did that night against usc tomorrow. Coming off a tough road loss, rainy/ windy conditions. The team should come out with an edge, especially the offense line. A lot of similarities. I don’t think we will blow Usc out, but a great opportunity is here for the program to rebound and have a good season. Imo

Recruiting Why Notre Dame 2025 TE prospect Linkon Cure holds intriguing potential

One name that caught my eye when tracking down which recruits will be visiting on Saturday was 2025 tight end prospect Linkon Cure. The 6-foot-6, 220-pound recruit is a three-sport athlete and attends Goodland (Kan.) High. He's blown up recently and has 18 total offers including Penn State, Wisconsin, Nebraska, Michigan, Florida, Texas A&M, Iowa and Oregon.

Inside ND Sports caught up with Rivals national recruiting analyst Greg Smith to learn more about Cure and what's led to his rise.

"When you pop on his film it’s easy to see why," Smith said. "Cure is 6-foot-6, which is excellent size for a college tight end. He uses that frame to make contested catches and win jump balls."

"The thing that has colleges fighting for him from coast to coast is his speed," Smith said. "Cure is able to get separation with ease and runs good routes. The Irish should be looking hard at Cure to get him to be next in line with their great tight end tradition."

Recruiting 2026 LB Cam Thomas is eager for Notre Dame visit experience

Notre Dame has only offered two linebackers in the 2026 recruiting class, four-star recruits Anthony Jones and Talanoa Ili. Still, while it may be early, the Irish are getting talent on campus. Notre Dame 2026 linebacker prospect Cam Thomas plans to visit the Irish on Saturday for their game against USC.

Thomas attends West Chester (Ohio) Lakota West and is teammates with 2024 safety commit Taebron Bennie-Powell. The 6-foot, 198-pound recruit camped at Notre Dame in June and holds nine total offers from Akron, Charlotte, Cincinnati, Eastern Kentucky, Georgia Tech, Marshall, Massachusetts, Miami (Ohio) and Michigan.

Inside ND Sports conducted an interview with Thomas to get his perspective heading into Saturday.

On his first visit to a Notre Dame game:

"Every program has its ways of getting ready for a game," Thomas said. "I want to see how they prepare as a program. Preparation is big for me coming from Lakota West."

On the Lakota West and Notre Dame connection:

"It’s great, Ben [Minich] was my senior teammate last year and a huge mentor for me. So watching him develop where he is now as a Notre Dame football player is pretty cool. I will also be there with my current teammate, Taebron, who is already committed to Notre Dame. So I feel like Notre Dame trusts the Lakota West product."

On what an offer would mean:

"I don’t normally look forward to St Patrick’s Day but this year I’ll be looking forward to it. In the recruiting process, relationships are big for me and my family. Notre Dame has stayed in contact as much as they can with me being a 2026 but I look forward to building with them throughout this process."
