List of NFL Draft attendees doesn't include Joe Alt

The NFL announced today that 13 players plan to attend the 2024 NFL in Detroit, which begins on April 25.

Notre Dame offensive tackle Joe Alt won't be there, which isn't that surprising. I wouldn't have guessed he'd want to be part of it.

As we previously reported, Notre Dame OC Mike Denbrock plans to be there. Three of his former LSU players are in line to be first-round picks.

Here's the full list of players:

Alabama CB Terrion Arnold
LSU QB Jayden Daniels
Ohio State WR Marvin Harrison Jr.
Alabama OT J.C. Latham
UCLA EDGE Laiatu Latu
North Carolina QB Drake Maye
Toledo CB Quinyon Mitchell
LSU WR Malik Nabers
Washington WR Rome Odunze
Missouri EDGE Darius Robinson
LSU WR Brian Thomas Jr.
Alabama EDGE Dallas Turner
USC QB Caleb Williams

Basketball WBB: Notre Dame's Citron, DeWolfe and Marshall make ACC All-Academic Team

For junior Sonia Citron, it's her third time making the team in three years. She is a Management Consulting major. ... Former Irish forward Sam Brunelle, now at Virginia, made the team as well.

Academic requirements for selection to the All-ACC Academic Team are a 3.0-grade point average for the previous semester and a 3.0 cumulative average during one’s academic career. In addition, student-athletes must compete in at least 50 percent of their team’s contests.

Recruiting Rivals Camp Series Miami: Commitment predictions for top campers

You may remember that 2026 DT Elijah Golden was pretty pumped about receiving a Notre Dame offer on Pot of Gold Day. After Golden competed in the Rivals Camp Series near Miami last weekend, @John Garcia Jr. predicted Golden eventually commits to Notre Dame.

Tyler's article on Debrock and the offense

Sorry I missed this when it came out. Excellent article breaking down the whole offense with Denbrock. In particular, I was interested in one of your comments at the end talking about the QB's use of VR headsets. I heard Jayden Daniels made tremendous progress with the addition of VR and I've read how many NFL QB's use these headsets to improve their games. Tyler, any thoughts on whether ND can or will access this technology for it's QB's? I would think it would be especially useful for a guy like Leonard who can't go through game reps right now due to his injury or even the back QB's who can use the sets to see various defensive fronts they may face down the line and get used to make the appropriate line calls, audibles, etc. Thanks.

Football Drayk Bowen prioritizes nailing down Notre Dame starting linebacker role

Tuesdays are normally rest days for two-sport athlete Drayk Bowen, but his opportunity with Notre Dame football is too great to skip out on a spring practice.

“I’ve trained my whole life for this,” Bowen said. “I’ve wanted to do this my whole life. This is something that I’ve dreamed of ever since I was a little kid. I feel like I’ve always prepared for this moment. I just gotta go take it.”

BAS: Notre Dame breaks seven-game losing streak with 11-2 romp over Butler

David Glancy homered, reached base four times and scored three runs as the Notre Dame baseball team broke a seven-game losing streak Wednesday with an 11-2 non-conference romp over Butler at Eck Stadium.

Seven pitchers combined to limit the visiting Bulldogs (13-18) to six hits and two earned runs with three walks and 13 strikeouts. Reliever Sammy Cooper (1-0) got the win with 1 ⅔ innings of hitless ball with four strikeouts.

Shortstop Jack Penney and first baseman Connor Hincks had two hits each for the Irish (15-15). Penney scored two runs and drove in one. Hincks scored one and had two RBIs. Third baseman Simon Baumgardt drove in a run with a single and another with a sacrifice fly.

The relentless ACC schedule continues with a three-game series set for this weekend at No. 14 North Carolina (26-7, 11-4 ACC). Half of the league’s 14 teams are ranked in the top 16 of DI Baseball Top 25 this week.

Eric Hansen, any updates

on ND women's recruiting and xfer portal activity?
Wiith Randolph having chosen L'ull, ND has a rather weak recruiting effort going alongside Kate Koval. Single athlete
recruiting classes never work out well in the long haul. ND needs help as the development of Marshall, Watson and KK have simply not progressed.

You could make a case that Watson and KK have regressed.

What's the story on xfer portal activity? Anna DeWolfe was a success. Obinma was not. Who on the staff scouted her?
