Hartman +

Hartman should play in the bowl, he needs the work to try an improve on his draft status, six years hasn’t been enough, look at the 9-3 record. I knew he wouldn’t play in the bowl game. Hartman got what he wanted out of NOTRE DAME, the ole NIL cash. He won’t make that kind of cash sitting on the bench or blocking on special teams in the NFL.I always said if he would have been good enough he wouldn’t still be around after six years. Go Irish

OT: Rakes Report Christmas Giving 2023

Chris Wilson, host of Rakes Report, is continuing his annual Christmas fundraiser for the Center for the Homeless in South Bend.

Chris is a Notre Dame fan whose podcast we've spent some time joining over the years. So I wanted to share his GoFundMe if you're looking for a place to share with those in need this Christmas season.

He's also partnered with Notre Dame fan Bridget Reynolds to design some Notre Dame-themed shirts and sweatshirts. I'm a personal owner of the "Fat Guy Touchdown" shirt. Proceeds from purchases in the Tee Public store this month will go to the Center For the Homeless as well.

HKY: No. 7 Michigan State sweeps No. 20 Irish with a 2-1 win on Saturday night

The 20th-ranked Notre Dame hockey team ended the first half of its season, getting swept on the road by seventh-ranked and Big Ten leader Michigan State.

The Irish were more competitive in game 2 of the series at Munn Ice Arena in East Lansing, Mich., a night after getting blasted 5-2, but Notre Dame still left with another loss, this time 2-1 on Saturday night.

Ryan Bischel had 38 saves for Notre Dame (8-8-2, 4-4-2 Big Ten). Patrick Moynihan’s fifth goal of the season was the lone score for the Irish against Michigan State (12-4-2, 7-1-2), which outshot ND, 40-32.

Notre Dame is off until a home series Dec. 30-31 against Augustana.
