Worst Offensive Performance in Freeman era

I do. Have many times. I'm not going to admit I'm wrong 3 games into the season and 1 bad game. Maybe people need to relax and not rush to judgement when there is at least 10 games of the season left.

Is that even a possibility to you? Maybe relax, and let the season play out first before you make up a decision. If we run that offense we did yesterday, we are going to win a lot of games and maybe, just Maybe if you give it a little time you'll see the passing game open up.

He is coming off multiple surgeries, didn't practice in the spring, doesn't have Faison or a healthy Evans, and is learning a new offense. Just let's see what happens before you need to be right

“I” need to be right? That’s rich. Riley Leonard has not been the QB we expected him to be, PERIOD. Talking about what “ might” be limiting him after talking him up as a sure fire 1st day pick is your problem to admit as you never seem to acknowledge that you just might have: jumped the gun or was just flat out wrong in your assessment. Making excuses for his performance now based on your “Statement's that can’t be Disputed” beforehand is pure stupidity on your part. Riley Leonard, at this point, is an UFA QB. That is far from your no holds barred 1st day pick assessment. Just fvcking admit it. You , as of now, are WRONG

Riley Leonard still can’t throw

This was an article from 9/2023 and for the 2024 draft. 😂 again you are reaching. You were saying this summer that he was a 1st round nfl prospect for the 2025 draft. Show me where he is for the 2025 draft.
Yes I've said that multiple times. Can't you read 🤣🤣.

Do you understand I said pre injury you fool

He also had multiple 1st rd grades this summer which I posted on here. Mike just posted a few as well. He had 1st rd grades this summer from espn, on3 and other sites to go along with Kiper having him 19th before his injury

The talent like I said is not in question. You can't read or you are just ignorant. Or just a huge tool.

The evidence is out there. Multiple sites and people had him as a 1st or 2nd rd talent last year and this year. That inarguable

Angelli Should be the starter.

He played on a way better team with way more talent around him. Also one of the best coaches in all of football and the best OL in cfb.

Leonard only played 1 full season. How can you compare his career numbers.

The post was about seasons and they are very comparable for that season

More than you'd like to admit. JJs best season is very similar to RLs best season at Duke. Rileys overall stats were better but McCarthy was much more accurate and won a NC
As sjb75 commented, this is a silly argument. It's ridiculous to even compare the two as similar. You are just looking foolish.

And this why I don't like to compare single seasons. Anyone can cherry pick a year. Look at JJ McCarthy's career college stats vs Riley Leonard. It's not even close, McCarthy has been far more productive than Leonard. The fact that you are even comparing a national championship QB to Leonard is absurd.

Again there's no similarities, McCarthy has a much better TD to INT ratio, and a much higher completion percentage.

Angelli Should be the starter.

I'm not talking about 2 years ago, I'm talking about NOW, in the PRESENT. Plus McCarthy had multiple productive years.

Leonard also had 12 INT's and was barely at a 60% completion rate, McCarthy had just 4 INT's and completed 72% of his passes.

Not similar at all.
Agreed.

Posters telling us that the passing skill set of the Riley Leonard we have watched the last 3 games is similar to JJ McCarthy is silly.

Number 19 just like I said he had him before injury

McCarthy isn't playing in cfb now so you can't be talking in the present. Stupid comment

Also, your numbers are wrong, he had 20tds to 6 ints. So he had 33 Tds to 6 ints. McCarthy had 25 tds and 4 ints. Leonard had more total yards. McCarthy was more accurate. Although RL was at 64% in 22

So yes very similar. They were both dual threats. Riley numbers overall were better and he was surrounded by much less talent while McCarthy was more accurate and won more

Riley Leonard still can’t throw

This is an opinion piece. What do actual NFL scouts believe.
All mock drafts are opinions.

We agree: He's throwing like shit.

The question is: Can Denbrock manufacture more points with Leonard's skill set or with Angeli's skill set?

I don't know the answer. And we'll certainly speculate it here for hours on end.

I do know this: We CAN reel off 9 straight wins and get to the playoffs with either guy.

Riley Leonard still can’t throw

I already posted a scouting report which included Kiper's projection and it wasn't round 1. Look for it, I'm not going to do your research for you.
Bull. Even during the ND game he had him 19th on his big board before the injury. Watch the tape it's easy to find. You're full of shit

If he fell down after the injury is irrelevant. They were people last year and going into this season that had him 1st round. Others 2nd. And some lower. But no question he had multiple 1st round grades

Angelli Should be the starter.
