I will say again what I said before. RL missing spring practice with the ankle injury and then being limited in summer practice was a big thing. He's coming over to a new team, with a new system and coaches, and new WRs. Those spring and summer practices were important, but he didn't get them. He is just now starting to round into form. He still isn't a great passer, and I am not sure he ever will be, but he shows improvement every week, and his elite running skills make him a really tough guy to defend. He is a big kid and is able to pick up yards that other running QBs wouldn't. And his leadership skills and game "mojo" are plainly evident. Patience is often in short supply with Irish football fans, but just keep the faith, fellas. Our defense will keep us in the game every week, and while the offense is still a work in progress, the needle is moving in the right direction.
