Mills Out For CFP

We had a 5 man rotation going into the season

Mills
Cross
Rubio
Onye
Hinish

That 5 man group is damn good. We haven't had 1 game all year where all 5 were available and we had multiple games where only 3 were

Yet we still have a top 5 defense.

DE depth that has played in rotation during real games this year

Traore
Botelho
Junior
Thomas
Oben
Burnham
Young

That's 12 dudes right there in the DL rotation during the year. Not many teams (maybe 5) can go that deep in their rotation and be high high quality throughout a year

Top 5 defense in the country. Yes the DL depth was elite this year. 4 players now out for the year yet we're still standing

Yes, ELITE
The interior/DT is far from elite, is there is not 1 Top 100 player in the group or 150.

If Tenn played in the SEC…

Scheduling wise it was unfair relative to strength, achievement, and being in same conference. Payroll shouldn’t matter in this context.

BTW: payroll helps ND. Better to do this openly with brand and deep pockets…vs under the table stuff letting the SEC be an outlier for an era.

Keep in mind they blew up USC and Pete Carrol for what the SEC routinely did.
Why is it that seating is the only thing payroll should matter?
OSU was seat 8th. They won that means they play the #1 seat.
Beat the skunck bears and they wouldn't be playing Oregon.
This is poetic justice

Why isn't MFs success netting more blue chip interest?

Rumor has it this 2026 class might be one of the worst in the last 5 years
Just because the program is doing really well over the last 11 games doesn't take anything away from the importance of out recruiting your opponents especially if you want to sustain success at the highest level and compete with the programs that are recruiting at the top

Notre Dame still has yet to play a loaded roster this season Georgia is going to be the first opponent with more talent than ND all season

if Notre Dame had more talent firepower they'd be favored a lot more than one or two points right now
Basically you are a douche. You can't b1tch about the 2024 ND team because they are winning, F+ had them in the top 5, and they have a great opportunity to win a championship. So now you b1tch about the 2026 recruiting cycle. Yea you're a BIG DOUCHE!

I thought you go by 247 composite and you said Texas am had more talent. Wouldn't this be game 2 then?

The two teams with the highest payrolls for players got shafted?

Now that's rich

Malachi Fields

This fall, the 6-foot-4, 220-pound wideout snagged 55 catches for 808 yards and five touchdowns. Following the regular season, he was named the Cavaliers' Offensive Player of the Year and a third-team All-ACC. Fields also appeared on the 2024 Biletnikoff Award Watch List, which goes to the nation's most outstanding receiver.

It's his second straight season with at least 55 receptions, 800 yards and a quintuple of scores.

There is something seriously wrong with you. You enjoy having a black cloud over your head.

Why isn't MFs success netting more blue chip interest?

Is there not a single five-star prospect out there that wants to play for this emerging program?

It just sucks to see that Notre Dame is still gaining no traction with the top flight prospects in the sport even with all of the momentum with the team's 11 game winning streak

Where did you hear this rumor from?

How do you know that there’s not a single five star prospect that wants to play for Notre Dame?

And how did Notre Dame make it to the quarterfinals of the college football playoffs when according to you, they did so without any significant talent whatsoever?

Are you insane? We are in the playoffs heading to the Sugar Bowl, and this is what you focus on? Go see a psychiatrist.
