Traore was a composite 4 star top 250 player not a 3 star. Cross was a composite 4 star player. You are giving out bad information

Young Mills Cross Rubio Traore Botelho Thomas Vernon Houstan Burnham Junior were all composite 4 stars out of high school

How many teams have 11 4 stars on their DL throughout the country. Not too many. Some hit some didn't. Some 3 stars are better than others.

But this notion we don't recruit well across the DL is just wrong

ND has 3 & 4 star talent that has been maximized with great player development and great scheme but its the lack of high 4 & 5 star talent that is still capping this program's upside.

Imagine NDs coaching staff with OSUs roster/talent for example

OSUs roster has 14 five-stars and another 10+ top 100 prospects on it for example (that means 25 of their 80+ scholarship players are top 100 consensus talent with more than half of that being 5-star talent)

Imagine what Marcus Freeman/ this coaching staff could do with that much talent?

Alabama, Georgia, and Florida will hang, having money, not sure about the rest.

Does Notre Dame do a lousy job recruiting the DL? No. It’s satisfactory to good. That’s it.

That said, ND does a damn good job developing the DL talent they do get.
