Looks like the other thread got shut down. I have no issue with the Edge guys, been fantastic. The concern is the interior DT, in 6 years ND has not recruited ONE Top 150 player with an average ranking of 360. WR/DT have been the two worst recruited positions and it’s not close. ND has done “very well” at every other position
Al Washington has not been a great recruiter here so far. DL has played well as far as technique etc, but year 3 and no big studs signed. Jmo.

Underwhelming resume for a ND transfer. Overall, our TE’s seriously underperformed this year, and blocking was beyond poor by ND standards. Washington looks like an efficient willing blocker, so think this was the primary interest in him. Agree that Flanagan is talented and I think he might make an impact as a freshman, but probably late in the season. Washington should help the running game against a demanding first few games.
TE production was down I agree.
Perhaps it’s because of a different coordinator different scheme.

Georgia is going to attempt to run the ball down NDs throat

Yea. I don’t know
This Stockton kid
If he’s a good as everyone is hyping to be why did beck start over him.

I watched some film and he certainly doesn’t have a cannon for an arm. Ball looks like it takes a while to get to its target.
Riley Leonard looks much faster than him also.
If we make Georgia one dimensional and can not let him escape and make a play I like our chances in this one.

It's Time the NFL Relinquish Saturdays to the College Football Playoffs

They just did it Saturday. NFL still 1st.

That is not a fair barometer
A free public channel against a paid cable channel is not a fair comparison

Is Rylie Mills

So according to you, playing an extra game in the CFP doesn’t put the players at the risk of injury

Interesting theory, wrong but interesting
I believe your stance on the " pylon placement" question was similar. If you don't understand what postseason means so be it. It's why ND was ineligible for a bye which was fair. Injuries happen, unfortunate for sure but that's the reality of the game.

Georgia is going to attempt to run the ball down NDs throat

New QB has a killer comp avg. close to 80%. He can run as well.

ND might load the box and play man but they will need to spy that QB.
From film I've seen, the BACKUP QB as a runner looks more like an ASSET than a LIABILITY.

He's fast and shifty and can take it the LENGTH OF THE FIELD. I can easily see him having an IMPACT.

For ND, this game could wind up feeling like playing a MORE CAPABLE Army or Navy.

ND missed GT's gifted running QB due to injury, but this time the situation is reversed.

Don’t get some of these portal pics. Wisky. Ark.

There are so many absolute stud WR’s in the portal. Not sure about TE.

I trust the staff to evaluate talent but woooff so far.
Both the WRs looks great, very productive as P4 college players. About as much as you could hope for. I don't know how talented they are, but they're not essentially random guys that have never produced much on the field. I was hoping they might go after Logan Loya from UCLA. He could be another Chris Finke type. Also quite productive. The TE seems like more of a reach. But perhaps he's known more for his blocking.

Offense Needs to Step Up

Georgia d has struggled defensively especially against the run when the other teams qb is a big running threat…

Riley must run early and often. We can’t allow Georgia to focus on stopping our rbs. We don’t need to change up our offense, we just need to put it all out on the line. If that means 20 Riley runs, then run him.

This is a good d when they don’t have to read, and they can just pin their ears back. Look at the success tech had because of their qb running, it opened up lanes for the rb too.
