Georgia Offensive makeup reminds me of past BK versions

I'm going to say because it's obvious but don't hate on me for it. Up until this year ND used to have more shifty white dudes who could play RB or WR. Think Cam McDaniel, Chris Finke, Ben Skowronek, right?

Currently, ND's teams don't look like that with the exception of TE, ok fine.

Looking at Georgia's Offense. They got a white dude playing RB, a few playing WR, etc. Does this sound like a race thing, yes but what I'm saying is these guys can ball but it looks atypical of those dominating GA teams from the past and ND has flipped the script!

Georgia is going to attempt to run the ball down NDs throat

I have not seen stockton, so lets get that out there but this is my thoughts for what its worth.

ND's d line is gutted for one, plus undersized. You better believe if I were the georgia o coordinator, having a backup QB who can run, I'd be looking at this and licking my chops. ND will absolutely have to get creative here and figure out ways to scheme more hats in the box to stop the run, but not give up big dumb plays over their heads.

I think the key for the irish in this game is actually more on the offense. Assuming we can force Georgia to be one dimensional on offense, and force them to make time consuming drives to score points, it seem paramount that the offense comes out clicking and gets georgia into a sizeable deficit early. Not exactly a small feat as the UGA defense isn't a slouch however but I think thats more doable than expecting the defense to come up big, drive after drive.

All that said, I still don't think ND wins this game. Maybe its my PTSD of all the previous flops in the post season that has me thinking this way. Maybe under Freeman this is a different team/program, I don't know. But until ND proves it on the field in these situations, the jury is still out.
That's a REASONABLE analysis.

To summarize -- particularly in respect to your characterization of ND's D-Line as "gutted" -- a number of pieces are CERTAINLY in place for Georgia to win this game.

And I agree that for ND to win it, the O will have to come up big and perhaps in surprising and spectacular ways.

The Mills injury and the question as to whether or not Cross is 100% loom large.
