Can we talk about the effin refs?

That’s an absurd, example absent sufficient detail
What was the juxtaposition of the defender and the receiver when the defender was hit by the wall?

I made a ridiculous (but possible) scenario to illustrate to you just how dumb your theory on this rule is. Once a pass has been touched by the defense and there was no previous contact that would have resulted in PI, It’s a live ball until it hits the ground. Then it’s an incomplete ball. Kiser got there and made contact at the same exact time as the ball hit him in the back. No call.

There’s absolutely ZERO requirement to turn and look back.

You need to reread these rules you keep hinting at. I’m certain you’re one three things:

1) you are misunderstanding the real rule
2) you aren’t understanding that some posters, including me, think contact was not initiated prior to the ball hitting Kiser in the back
3) you just want to argue for arguments sake

With you, all three things are very possible

How much money did ND save extending MF before he beat Georgia and made it to the final 4 ?

I think that issue raises serious tax questions, if not ethical ones. Back in the day, Jim Harbaugh refused a big chunk of his salary as he felt he didn't earn it (and was under pressure). But there was not "constructive receipt" of that money. This is different. Receiving the money and returning it to some designated athletic department fund is a form of laundering. Whether or not that laundering is "clean" will be sorted out.

I’m sure they just sign a temporary renogiation of salary and the school then reallocates it per his wish. I wouldn’t believe coaches would be able to donate it like it’s charity or some sort of tax write-off. It’s definitely not charity.

Refs nd-unc

“The referees weren’t the issue. Notre Dame themselves was the bigger issue.”

You obviously didn’t watch the game. The refs were abysmal the entire game. Cadeau simply fell down when he landed and the ref that had effed us all game long called a bullshit foul on the three pointer. Then Burton was clearly fouled w/ forceable contact on the layup, no call. But that wasn’t near the worst of it. The entire game they bailed unc out on out of control bullshit prayers thrown up only to have a late whistle blown when there was no foul. So many ticky tack on one side and obvious fouls not called on the other. But I wouldn’t expect anything different from you about the subject. You’re probably still reeling from the SEC getting their asses handed to them this bowl season, but don’t take it out on the ND hoops team. Had the game been fairly reffed, it would’ve been an easy 10-15 point going away win. Stfu if you didn’t watch, and if you did watch and think ND didn’t get robbed, stfu even more.

Brian Kelly only did so out of desperation. Get a clue

My guess is quite a bit.

Hopefully that savings can go towards expanding the NIL budget and continuing to upgrade the talent on the roster.
See, it's the snarky posts like this, and you wonder why posters insult you. You show again how little you know, and the fool you are, by taking unwarranted digs at Notre Dame, like they are doing everything on the cheap. You're truly the biggest idiot on this forum.

Respect for Marcus Freeman

Over his head? Jack actually made an astute decision
This year's defense does not change the reality of the situation in 2021.

With Al Golden and Mike Denbrock...

Golden YES, not a fan of Denbrock. His playcalling against GA was baffling. Never attacked the perimeter like he should have, every outside run had 5-7 yards but he continued to run the F ing ball up middle. Did he even watch the GA Tech-GA game?
Yes this. We have one half of a good team. I did not see a single deep completion in the Sugar Bowl from us.

It doesn’t matter if the ball hits the defender before or at the same time as contact with the offensive player.

If the defender plays the player and never looks for the ball, it’s pass interference even though the ball hits the defender in the back

I guess for you, ignorance is bliss
