Next Year's Offensive Line is going to be good!

Why would I ? He's still an unknown quantity from an actual playing standpoint and coming off a tough injury. Still way too small of a sample size for me. In the mix for sure.
He made some mistakes vs Oregon state no doubt, but he did some things as well moving people around that we haven't seen since Nelson.

The play we run a lot where the TE cracks the DE and the Tackle is supposed to wall down the interior dlinemen. Jagusah at tackle doing that this year, man o man. Price had to squeeze in on his long TD run vs florida state due to knapp not able to crush people.

Next Year's Offensive Line is going to be good!

I agree Lambert has the highest ceiling of any OL in the team. But he will be challenged for that title next year with Will Black

2 elite prototypes for future NFL tackles
I think Jagusah has the highest upside, but it's probably interior. I think lambert has the highest upside as a tackle. Overall, i give edge to jagusah with overall talent. Good problems if healthy.

Next Year's Offensive Line is going to be good!

I would say with confidence that if healthy Schrauth and Wagner are sure things in 2025. The other 3 spots should be a real dogfight.
I would add Jagusah to that mix, if healthy, lock to start, just not sure what spot. He is an absolute unicorn physically at the position. Could be the biggest, strongest, and most athletic olinemen on the team

Northern Illinois

I agree.

Awful loss. Shitty day. Shitty weekend.

But when it all boils down, Freeman and co handled business and got to a place where they really control their own destiny. The NIU loss, like you said- was a fluke.

Beat Army. Beat USC. We'll secure a nice seed and home playoff game.

What this team was able to do after that NIU loss......is pretty remarkable.

We'll likely end up a 6 or 7 seed. Would've maybe been that, if we beat NIU.

The NIU loss turned out to be a blessing. It refocused the team, refocused the staff. You gotta bring it every damn week.
I think we'd be the five seed, if we beat NIU. Which would have been convenient, very much advantageous. But whatever, close enough....

CFP Rankings

I don't have a problem with it. It's a reward for playing and winning a 13th game, which at-large teams won't have done. So every team will have to win a total of 4 postseason games to win the championship.
It’s also why I like the deal that Jack Swarbick negotiated for Notre Dame. So the flip side is, the SEC champion deserves the bye having to play game 13.

It’s a sound format.
