So tell me, how is Riley Leonard, a first round talent too you at this point? Superior arm strength? Ball placement? Play recognition? There’s plenty of better RB’s so don’t go there.
He's not playing well this year like he did at Duke. I don't know the reason why. Is he not comfortable with Denbrock, is it because of his surgeries that he doesn't want to sit in the pocket. I'm not really sure. He's just not comfortable right now. There's no way of me or anyone on here knowing exactly what it is.
But if they play the way they did last week, use him as a running threat which he is a huge factor in, and get the other 2 backs going we will be hard to stop. Now as the season progresses the goal and the hope is that whatever is the problem it gets fixed. Because if it does we will be dangerous.
He has the talent to make this a potent offense. Denbrock has to use his skillset right and maybe he is learning him better. He didn't have him all of spring. I'm still optimistic. If it doesn't get fixed then we will have to look at other options but just build off last week
