I can see why the networks would favor some big September matchups over ND-USC on Nov. 30. Thanksgiving weekend has a lot of football, and in years when ND-USC isn't featuring two highly-ranked teams (all too often in recent years), it can get lost in the shuffle nationally that weekend.Don't forget that Fox will be showing Ohio St-Michigan on the same day as ND-USC, Nov. 30. Plus ND-USC will be competing for viewers against many other rivalry games that day.
Seems like Shrew's going the mid-major route for a lot of transfers lately, with 3 new players from Princeton, Monmouth and Lehigh. Hope they work out.Coach Shrew should follow his lead. St Mary’s of Moraga has been recruiting basketball players from Australia for over 20 years, and they play in the NCAA tourney annually. Not world beaters, but nearly always with a 7ft Aussie center with rebounding and rim protection better than we’ve put on the floor.
I hate making short investments, although I’ve done it. Much prefer opportunities to screw the shorts. That said, much prefer investing over day trading, and this market has been incredibly strong and rewarding.I tried to post a picture of the meme but it wouldn't install that tells his followers he's serious.
At that point it's time to screw the short sellers
Good for youComing off 8-4 and 9-3 regular seasons, I simply hope to win at TAM.
Coming off 8-4 and 9-3 regular seasons, I simply hope to win at TAM.Just wait til one of the conference championship losers has to play an away game at south bend. Oh it's coming that's a guarantee
ND would fit best in the bigten in regards to geography, history, academics and existing rivalries..despise losing to ND, but love the rivalry..ND would be a feather in the bigten's cap, add prestige to the conference..sure, under current conditions ND will stay independent..however, there will be revenue sharing, and there will be the dissolution of the acc..unless ND wants to park its non football sports in the big 12 or sec, they will be pushed toward joining a conference...add in the reduced revenue after paying a compulsory $hare to the players, and it might be a fiscal necessity to join a conference for a bigger chunk of tv money...and my question came about because of the pending litigation that will result in mandatory revenue sharing..thought it was worth an ask
I fully understand why a conference would want ND; but my question was more personal, why the poster would love ND to join the big ten, etc…. We all know the arguments pro and con, and ND’s preference as long as there is a path to the NC and financial viability, etc… so wondering why a Michigan fan would come here and post about this and declare his love for the idea…WHY?That’s easy, what conference wouldn’t want to add ND? Not many advantages I can think of outside 1/ conference championships (which I personally have 0 appetite for) and 2/ never being ranked above a 5 seed is absolutely a disadvantage in great years but overall should benefit ND the majority of the time.
Don't forget that Fox will be showing Ohio St-Michigan on the same day as ND-USC, Nov. 30. Plus ND-USC will be competing for viewers against many other rivalry games that day.So Fox picked bama vs Wisconsin over usc. S nd? Odd.
He didn't deserve to be a pro bowler. One of the rbs who had 1000 yards and didn't make it deserved it over himSince you don’t know who the other running backs were, how can you make a valid determination ? Answer: you can’t.
So if a running back gains 700 yards in three games you would classify them as not being a pro bowl player ? Interesting perspective, totally flawed, but interesting.
You would completely ignore YPC
This is why you know nothing about football !
Just wait til one of the conference championship losers has to play an away game at south bend. Oh it's coming that's a guaranteeNotice which of the conference teams are saying how they would be better off with ND's by week after Thanksgiving.
(none of them)
