Exciting; meaning that a team isn't winning convincingly?
I'm not surprised at all you said thatAgree. There’s something about playing a soft schedule, losing at home to crappy Northern Illinois, and then saying a top 4 ranking is deserved that does not add up correctly.
Agree. There’s something about playing a soft schedule, losing at home to crappy Northern Illinois, and then saying a top 4 ranking is deserved that does not add up correctly.I rate Penn State higher than ND on a better schedule and losing to Ohio State rather than NIU.
But I now think it's 50:50 between the Irish and Nittany Lions in a playoff game.
Only the top 4 I mentioned give me some pause...but I am hoping ND shows upside obfuscated by this schedule.
30 mph wins according to broadcast before game. If you don't believe that, talk to them about it30 mph ?
There was no wind !
30 mph ?30 mph wind favors Army
Given the fact that both teams have played soft schedules, losing to Northern Illinois is why I would vote Notre Dame slightly behind 10-1 Penn State.
I don't know what that means. The SEC is still very good. And sure, they are inflicting losses on each other, compounding out of conference losses.
You also are doing what may critics of ND do...short quips like: they played NIU las week.

Obviously jump Indiana and it's time they move us above PSU
Oh dear here we go again. Sec attrition lol.
They played Mercer last week
Vandy Miss State Kentucky Auburn Arkansas Oklahoma FloridaYou watched Army. A top 25 ranking is a joke.
They would get steamrolled in the SEC week after week.
But you will refer to Army as a quality win. Just like you did with Navy.
It’s disingenuous.
Well stated.I agree there is no clearly dominant team. But in my view the top 4 seem to be elite vs others aspiring.
Obviously I',m rooting for the Irish...but I gotta be honest: given the schedule and loss to NIU, we can't tell if ND is elite.
The playoffs will determine that. And, if enough stronger SEC teams fail to make it, my hopes rise even more.
Oh dear here we go again. Sec attrition lol. They're still a good team. Capable of beating good teams. Losing a coach like Saban is a big deal...as is playing in an SEC where there is attrition.
Like I said, I have a clear top 4...the rest fight it out.
Playing Purdue, Army, Miami Ohio and Navy helps.
Someone tell me what Texas has done though?
I havent seen any team this year that scares me. CFB finally has Parity.
You watched Army. A top 25 ranking is a joke.Army sucks
Vandy who lost to Ga state very good sec team. Meat grinder
Miss state whov got blown out by Toledo. Sec tough opp. Meat grinder
Clear and obvious bias
Alabama ?? We beat Am when we weren't nearly as good as now
Alabama, come on bro 🤣
Clear bias
