Does the CFP Committee go back to the drawing board?

Now that all the conf champs that received a bye have lost all 4 of their games - does the CFP Committee now look into the seeding being based on their rankings and dump the conf champs line of reasoning? The 3-6 ranked teams are still standing and they all eliminated the bye teams that were ranked 1,2, 9 and 12.
