Fighting Kelly’s of LSU

Mike Denbrock was the OC for Jayden Daniels for 2 seasons while Brian Kelly was the head coach.

Your opinion is garbage.

Jayden Daniels was a 65% passer at ASU for three years prior to transferring to LSU where he was surrounded by much better talent. You’re an idiot. Stick to little girls track

Or tell me how Marcus Freeman recruited and developed Jack Coan, Riley Leonard and Sam Hartman as the previous idiot likes to give Brian Kelly credit for Jayden Daniels recruitment and development.

There’s not really any “opinion” about anything I said. Facts must hurt your feelings or something

CFP Top 25

Irish up to 5 in ap poll.

Bama at 12 is bs.
Alabama at #12 with 3 losses is complete BS. Again it's a meaningless. poll, because the only ranking that matters is the CFP.

I believe PSU remains ahead of ND in the rankings if they both win this coming week. Their tie breaking criteria with records being the same at 11-1
1. strength of schedule: advantage PSU
2. head to head: N/A
3. results over common opponents without incenting margin of victory: Equal, they both won against common opponents.

I believe ND is the better team, but CFP will keep PSU ranked ahead of ND based on the criteria above.

I agree, ND is the better team, but unfortunately based on tue cfp criteria, PSU will get the edge in the rankings
Exactly what is the criteria?
PSU best win is a 14 victory at home vs Illinois who need ot to beat Purdue & Nebraska and a hail mary to beat Rutgers.
PSU struggled with Bowling Green
PSU struggled with 6-5 USC
PSU struggled with 5-6 Wisconsin
PSU struggled with 6-5 Minnesota

Best win is 35-6 vs 6-5 Washington.
It seems their best argument is they lost to OSU at home by 7.

ND might be able to hang with favored Ohio State, Oregon, Texas, and Georgia to beat them.

ND can hang with the rest of a tight pack, as others have described it, to be 50:50.

I saw the Wisconsin and Oregon game. Just like with ND, take it in holistic across the season context. Oregon pulled it out when they were lackluster...and have hit heights and consistency in a tough schedule ND hasn't.

And even with Georgia, play their schedule. You seem to think the SEC has severely declined, but I disagree. Any team would find it tough to play Florida and South Carolina in their homes...teams capable of a surge game to beat other decent teams.

All good, everybody has their opinion. I tune my based on these discussions. I posted overall where I stand. A top 4 with a tight pack after that...where ND is fully justified.
ND has a great defense. They can "hang" against anybody

Would he? Should he?

I can’t.

He is who he is.

And if Freeman wasn’t going to pull him against NIU when he was hurting, he won’t in the future.
Way different circumstances. You hear coaches all the time "we just needed a spark and go back to the starter next game" and CMF is evolving.

The O Line was ass in the NIU game and the defense was dead legged. Game 2 when other things are going badly not just QB play is a different set of circumstances then game 12 on the road vying for a playoff spot when the rest of your team is firing on all cylinders and the QB play is holding it back..

I can see CMF making that call.

Hopefully ND beats the dog shit out of SC and we'll never find out.

I'll be glad next year when the guys on the roster are the guys they've recruited and developed and we don't have this nonsense of getting a hurt guy going as the season progresses in a new system. Imagine what it could have been like if RL had spring to compete.. Let alone being used to the play book and coaching style of Denbrock.

For those that complain about ND not being in a conference...

Exciting; meaning that a team isn't winning convincingly?
I mean looking at a schedule before the season starts and seeing games that you just can't wait to see. If you look at this years schedule, only the Texas A&M game was one of those games. If we were in the Big 10, we'd be excited about games vs Ohio State, Michigan, Penn State, Oregon, Indiana, and MSU for starters. I don't know about you, but I'd rather see that schedule than Northern Illinois, Louisville, Virginia, Navy, and Army.
