Would he? Should he?

My son and I and went to the Army game, and Leonard had all night to throw to wide open receivers. Then Angelli came in and did HIS thing except for missing the TE in the end zone on a late throw. So, I posed your exact question to my son.

What happens when passes need to be completed in a tight game and/or a shootout? And where the opponent has capable DB'S unlike Army's? Would Freeman have the nerve to pull Leonard if accurate passing became the key to victory?

And such a scenario could materialize against USC. They have shootout capability with two QB's who can sling it and that really good stable of receivers. Plus, they will be playing with NOTHING TO LOSE and an opportunity to SALVAGE THEIR SEASON.

Yes, WHAT WOULD FREEMAN DO?
I highly doubt he would pull Leonard. Angeli is doing all of this in mostly garbage time or favorable circumstances against Oregon State. Even if Leonard throws three first half picks in a playoff game, he’s still probably not coming out.

Would he? Should he?

We haven't had one game this year where we've been in a high scoring shootout. Sometimes they just happen no matter how good the defense is.
Odds are we can't go the entire season and playoffs(if we get in) without being in a shootout.

It's possible...yes. Is it likely?

If we find ourselves in that situation and just struggling to get points...

Would Freeman put Angelli in to perhaps spark the passing game?

Should he...put Angelli in to try and get some offense going?

Should he and would he are very different ! ! !

Or...do we die on the hill with Riley no matter what....

Fighting Kelly’s of LSU

I think that's sort of the art of being a deeply pathological Orwellian style hater, in the clinical sense. Is to lie so completely, that when you're hating on someone, and demonizing them and belittling their achievements, whoever the hate figure is, in this case it's BK. That it's not simply that 2+2=5, it's two plus two equals polka dots, and the more absurd the claim the better, the more egregious, the more flamboyant, the better to spray your disdain with contempt and derision for anything that could stand in the way of it. You don't just hate hate BK, you have contempt for all sense of reality, if such reality would in any way impede you. So the more ludicrous your aspersions, the richer the whole experience. That you don't even bother to make even vaguely plausible slanders.

Thus your claim that Jayden Daniels was recruited and developed by ASU. You actually even included 'recruited' by ASU. As if he was working in a gas station somewhere, or at a video arcade as a quarter porter, deep in the bowels of the ghostly Inland Empire. And ASU found him out of total obscurity, recruited him, gave him a scholarship and then coached him up to what he is today. And then BK in dastardly fashion strutted into town, all arrogant and phony like a politician, bought him off with the LSU slush fund, right as ASU's big investment was about to pay off, and took him back to his office in Baton Rouge and started crying and begging Jayden to save his career. And JD was like, 'Sure thing, coach.'

And the rest is history.

No, I simply corrected your inaccurate statement that Brian Kelly recruited and developed a Heisman winning QB. He did neither.

Everything else is just your sordid imagination running wild.

For those that complain about ND not being in a conference...

A&M is still eligible for the SEC title at 8-3. This is why their coaches shouldn’t cry about having to play in the SEC championship. A&M has a chance to go from out of the playoffs to a bye week with two games. If they beat Texas, and had no championship game, they would be done.

It’s a double edged sword but generally helps more than it hurts. If it hurts more, then don’t lose to the lower teams in your conference.
Fair point. If you're on the outside looking in, you want the conference championship game to boost your chances.

Yeah, even with all the losses, or maybe because of the losses. And they lost to Auburn, and were presumed out, but since everybody else lost, like for instance Bama and Ole Miss, that they're still alive if they beat Texas? And you're saying that if they beat Texas, despite just losing to Auburn, they'd still be regular season champs outright if there were no CCG, based on a regular tiebreaker system?

Well I'll be damned, I guess it's not too late for us to salvage our SOS. I figured we were cooked.

CFP Top 25

Kentucky stinks
Auburn stinks
Miss state is awful
Florida is average

4 wins there

Then I think we go 2 and 2 like they did. Possibly 3 and 1 but we'll say 2.

That's why I would have Georgia also above PSU. I think Georgia is one of the 5 best teams in the country for sure
Don’t forget when / if you lose those 1 or 2, they don’t count because it’s the SEC. It only counts when you lose outside of the SEC. LOL
