Like I said IU is not one of ND's toughest opponents, maybe 5th or 6th

Not a chance. They played well. Much better team than SC

Defense was good. Really good solid team we beat today no doubt.

I was there. They can play. Much better team than SC

Has been all year
You are hilarious!!! You will never in your life admit that you were wrong. SC came close to beating ND. There was never a time vs IU that the game was in danger. You wanna say the IU defense played "really good", well the SC offense scored at will vs ND. The IU offense has been a fraud all season.

To say IU is much better than SC is coming from someone that cannot admit they were wrong. SC since the QB change would beat IU.

A defense that gave up 400 total yards should not be considered "really good".

Way to many negative plays

Sloppy game. Very frustrating to watch ND blow several chances to break the game wide open. The last two scores by IU were unacceptable. I will never understand how you play such good defense through 56 minutes and then play like you just walked onto a field for the first time. Well I am happy they win but Georgia is a different animal. Gotta play better on offense to win that game.

Football Dellenger: Notre Dame's home win proves the postseason belongs on campus

Here's a national perspective on Notre Dame's 27-17 win over Indiana from Ross Dellenger, senior college football reporter for Yahoo Sports.

SOUTH BEND, Ind. — There is plenty wrong with college football.

You’ve heard the grievances, the gripes and the grumbles. The transfer portal and NIL. Unfair resource gaps and an unregulated compensation system.

There are many things about which to complain, festering issues that need examining, problems that have to be fixed.

But Friday night was not one of them.

From snow-blanketed Northern Indiana, amid frigid temperatures in a capacity-filled 94-year-old stadium, college football — the entity whose off-the-field engine is sputtering along — delivered spectacular history to millions across the country: an on-campus playoff game.

Glorious. Fantastic. Amazing.

Won the Battle Hope We Didnt Lose the War

I feel ND actually got their A game today...except for the last 3.5 minutes garbage time, which I blame on MF. He can and should make the call. Both on Xs and Os, not going prevent. As well as an imperious leader demanding they fight to end.

That A game handled Indiana emphatically. Their O never stood a chance. Ok, it's the O however which remains an issue.

The ND offense played about as good as it could. But it could be tweaked to be a bit better. The OL is enigmatic, doing well enough overall, but not well enough like in those red zone situations where points where lost.

RL won't become a deep passer. But he's a good runner. Good enough short passer. Denbrock can call a better game to leverage and impose himself. Denbrock now for me is the key person...raise the ND A game offensively a bit...enough to help the D to beat Georgia.
That wasn't our A game

Notre Dame has 4 players total in "top 50 players in playoff" ESPN

Main reason being there is depth at LB, not Hinish waiting in the wings. Don’t have that luxury of say an elite 2015 DL with Sheldon Day, Okwara, Rochelle, Tillery, Jarron Jones, Jay Hayes, Daniel Cage.

Mills might be one of most over rated guys for his career at ND. Hype and eye test never matched production. Cross had a breakout year last year and hasn’t maintained that bar.

Think Echo is stating Kiser brings the intangibles of leadership, not punching dudes in the face.
Another good performance by Mills before injury. Having a very good year
