. We have all these highly rated o lineman and only 5 spots to play. Do we not have anyone who could go the Jerry Tillerry route and play DT ? Jmo.
I can agree with that.Is that for sure, 'cause maybe if he was stronger he would have avoided the injury, like if his legs were stronger. And it's possible to decrease the incidence of common football injuries by virtue of greater physical, bodily strength by which to withstand them, before something like a knee ligament strains and then tears altogether. Including the one that Mills suffered. I don't know if that's true in that case at all, and probably isn't. But that's the idea. Their bodies aren't strong enough! They crave greater sinew!
We need a new S & C guy! Too many injuries!
Well said. Great post.People don’t realize how big of an impact Mills had. It’s not just him clogging up the middle and blowing up runs. He is a lethal pass rusher and even when he doesn’t get there, he destroys any semblance of a pocket. How many interceptions or incompletions do you think were because Mills blew up a clean pocket and the QB either panicked or could not see the field, forcing a ball that wasn’t there.
Getting pressure from the inside just can’t be replicated from anyone else on the roster. Young may help on the edge, but we won’t be collapsing the pocket and disrupting passing lanes like we did with Mills.
What a moronic statement -- the S&C Coach had zero do with Mills injury.Great job by our strength and conditioning coach

No zorich is right. Beck is a bigger loss than mills. We lose mills pass rushing and it’s one less body but Rubio is perfectly capable as a run stuffer. In your opinion. It depends on the team
In your opinion. It depends on the teamLosing Mills even with so many injuries at Dline is better (for lack of a better word) than losing a starting QB with NFL talent.
So just like I originally said lol glad you agree!ND was the better team …… by far
As to the degree of motivation by IU and ND, that will remain a mystery
