When ND Beats UGA

College football being the key phrase here.
Well good luck, we got a back up QB playing. Y'all should run us out of the Superdome by halftime.

Won't matter that your sack leader/TFL leader is out or you are lining up a 3* freshman LT across from 5* DE Mykell Williams.

Won't matter that Texas in 2 games averaged 1.1 yds rushing, gave up 13 sacks and 26 TFLs.

Maybe we won't show up at all and Kirby forfeits to the great ND team of 2024 (just not according to NIU)

The reality is, both the Big10 and the SEC each have 4-5 teams that are above average to elite and the rest are average to below average teams. Yet the media hypes both conferences up because they gave them a boatload of money and need to market them to recoup their money via advertising.
1. Georgia
2. Texas
3. Tennessee
4. Alabama
5. South Carolina
6. Mississippi
7. TAM
8. LSU

That’s 8 teams in the SEC that are at least above average IMO.

Best overall conference in CFB.

Illinois
At Iowa
At Oregon
Michigan St
UCLA
At Maryland
At Penn State
Wisconsin
At Purdue

5-4 is doable, 8-4 is doable for Cignetti IMO.

If Tenn played in the SEC…

Why is it that seating is the only thing payroll should matter?
OSU was seat 8th. They won that means they play the #1 seat.
Beat the skunck bears and they wouldn't be playing Oregon.
This is poetic justice

No way should a 2 loss Ohio State or 0 loss Oregon get a harder path than Penn State, Indiana, Boise, Arizona State, even Georgia.

Ohio State barely lost to Oregon on the road in a different time zone. Fine, they lost to MI, but it's one of the more intense rivalry games...and MI is a decent team.

Georgia lost to Alabama and Ole Miss. Barely survived GT, again, rivalry game.

Don't get me wrong. You have a good point about the MI loss. But in aggregate, this is optimal...that perhaps the best 2 teams in the country have to play each other 2nd game. While Boise gets a 2nd round game vs Penn State, who lost to Ohio State and Oregon?

I am for the playoffs. They will improve it. It needs to.

It really will be interesting if they can replicate 2024. They embarrassed most of the Big 10.

Riley Leonard or Ian Book

I think that's bullshit. Everybody disrespected Book while he was playing, that's when the BK bashing sickness was beginning to peak.
Question...

Just curious.

Why do you insist on falling on the sword for BK until the bitter end in time.
.He never got a chance to play against someone like IU.
🤣🤣🤣🤣

He also never got a chance with a better coaching staff, running game, better defensive team, etc etc...
And possibly the most glaring...
A bona-fide belief that the team isn't inferior to anyone.

BK's teams were mentally beat before kickoff in the most elite games.

But .....

That's years ago and if Book wasn't tiny, had a big arm, he wouldn't be meddling on practice squads.

He won a lot of games he was supposed to win at ND.

P.s.
BK and Book never beat Texas A&M this year on the road.
Seen that fish before. That was a lost game recipe all day long for BK and whomever the QB is...it happened on many occasion.

Fools gold Mr. Kelly was. Nothing more, nothing less.

Georgia is going to attempt to run the ball down NDs throat

I don't believe GA has ran the ball down anyone's throat this year. They have the 37th worse rushing offense I believe
Good post. I think their offensive line struggled this year. They do bring back a really good running back (Etienne) and sub in a good running quarterback. Therefore, stopping the run will be a challenge.
