Pandora's box would be easier than this mess...

Well I will say this. It will not be to long before players are paid directly from the schools. That is what the end game is. A player will say, “ you want me to play for your school ? What are you going to pay me ? “ That is where this is headed. You’ll end up with two leagues. One for student athletes the other for pay for play. Essentially those “ pay for play” athletes will be employed by the school for their services. Sort of like a minor league.
Yeah, that's precisely what it will be, but it won't be a 'minor league'. CFB is the #2 spectator sport, bigger than the NBA or MLB. In popularity and revenue and everything. And it's been that way for a long time. This is not a minor league sport. It's age-specific at most. Other than that it's big time professional spectator sports, where they charge for admission, and they charge a lot. You watch it on TV, you buy your ND t shirt, and your ND coffee mug, and your EA sports CFB for playstation every year a new version. All of it. There's billions being made so let's cut the bullshit. They're finally getting their due, and it's going to happen. And it won't be a minor league, it's as big as professional sports gets anywhere in the world.

So, all the details have to be worked out, and obviously that's a massive undertaking. But that's why we have to let the players organize so we can bring order to it. And a compromise. Super straight forward, like any other professional league. As far as the, are they still going to be students angle? Yeah, that would be very easy to accommodate and insist on. And nothing changes there. It's not like a place like LSU has ever made their football players take school very seriously. Anyway, it's on our doorstep, and the only way to bring order is by way of a CBA.

Will the three new receivers obtained through the portal

A lot of conflicting info there…. Either way, Staff is confident they have or have locked up our starter for 25. No way we get fields without clear confidence in starter and passing offense being sold
There hasn't been any conflicting info.....all the info we have is no, we are not going to the portal for a QB
