Georgia is going to attempt to run the ball down NDs throat

Freeman has done a GREAT JOB. No one was MORE NEGATIVE over his hiring than me. Whatever he's doing, he's GETTING IT RIGHT. And I don't doubt his CHARISMA will be a POSITIVE. But for me, this game is more about PURE PHYSICS -- speed, size, force, mass, momentum and DURABILITY.

ND has not played a team like this all year. My concern is that on a POUND FOR POUND BASIS, Georgia may still hold THAT GREATER TALENT/GREATER DEPTH/SIGNATURE SEC ADVANTAGE.

Because until a Freeman ND team beats a team of Georgia's ILK, it will be impossible to know if ND has indeed TURNED THE CORNER versus that kind of TALENT.

Fortunately, we have only about 13 hours -- AS I TYPE THIS -- until GAME TIME.
You are by far more grounded than me in these matters and it's good to have people like you around to temper me down a bit lol

I totally ......at times.... can see the forest through the trees in regards to ND football. MF more than ND needs this win to remove that doubt.

I still think Ga's QB has not seen the scheme that will be coming at him with this speed and wil eventually get in his head just my opinion but we'll see

On a side note it's rumored that if OSU wins it all Day/Kelly will be hired by the Chicago Bears.
Do you believe OSU will come after MF, and will he go if it does happens ?

$20,000,000 Beat $23,000,000

OSU spent their money well, as compared to the Ducks.
OSU is a monster now, and if they do win it all there's a rumor Day, and Kelly will be the Chicago Bears next set of coaches
Notre Dame also spent $20 millon and their return to this point has been good, and I'm not sure today will say much with such a somber moment that should, and will overshadow
the event.
I'm just curious what the board thing about the receiving tandem that was just sign (that just sounds odd to me) are anywhere near the caliber of the receivers OSU gas currently?
According to ChaseHisBalls we aren't spending near that amount.

NIL: Oregon spent $23M in 2024 on their roster, OSU spent $20M, Michigan spent $10.75M on ONE player in '25 class

You know damn well Notre Dame isn’t “..beating up …” Oregon if they play. How they’ve looked? Hell, every CFB team in America looks pedestrian on certain days. At least give 11-0, a win over Ohio St., and very possibly an undefeated Big 10 regular season title some credit where it is due.
Yeah we would have e beat them up

I’m pessimistic about the game today

Rally sons of Notre Dame:
Sing her glory and sound her fame,
Raise her Gold and Blue
And cheer with voices true:
Rah, rah, for Notre Dame
We will fight in ev-ry game,
Strong of heart and true to her name
We will ne’er forget her
And will cheer her ever
Loyal to Notre Dame

Cheer, cheer for old Notre Dame,
Wake up the echoes cheering her name,
Send a volley cheer on high,
Shake down the thunder from the sky.
What though the odds be great or small
Old Notre Dame will win over all,
While her loyal sons
Are marching onward to victory.

I was simply curious what you base it on. Oregon is a talented, well coached team IMO. QB is talented, outstanding WR’s. Physical on defense.

I don’t see Notre Dame beating up Oregon. I would simply hope to win.
Oregon is soft. Clearly exposed by OSU yesterday. ND would thump Oregon

I’m pessimistic about the game today

31 years, ND’s major bowl drought is to old to date Leonardo DiCaprio. I hear it every year, “we’re back” “this is the year” etc…sounds like decades and decades of Cubs fans. Will it take ND 100+ years to climb the mountain?

I’m tired of the talk, I’m tired of hope, just show up and win the damn game! I’m still livid about losing The Fiesta Bowl to “I’m a man, I’m 40”.

Game moved to Thursday Night

Oh well let's not forget that we removed ourselves from the gold standard so we can create a Ponzi scheme. Then lie to the American people when the gold disappeared. And I was at Ground Zero 911 and I know it was an inside job headed up by Israeli intelligence. I heard the detonations as the buildings were free falling. Our country is evil and anyone who thinks that God favors our country is in for a big Awakening because the consequences are of our actions are going to haunt very soon

Gold only has value because people believe it has value. The same as the U$ dollar. The same as crypto.

The Ponzi scheme was already well entrenched before we left the gold standard.

That’s 100 % targeting

I thought the O-lineman pulled him sideways and then pushed him in. The on field refs might just have been out of position to see that play. And I don't think the guys in the booth can call a penalty that was not called on the field.
Not renewable at all. From the end zone shot I thought he clearly pulled him in. Just something I noticed. Either the game announcers or afterwards on the post game it was mentioned.
