I think we can beat PSU and Texas. OSU would be tough.

I agree...but the games have to be played.

If ND meets Ohio State in the final, the Buckeyes will be favored...but ND has a history of glory pulling off wins when underdog in big games.

This mighty be the year the echoes wake up...I'm dreaming it will be.

Can we talk about the effin refs?

The guys I'm with were all cursing about the illegal motion before the play was even over. They did miss the face mask but thought overall there were proper calls both ways. The hold on Greathouse was proper. The PI on Gray maybe a little ticky tacky but don't grab the jersey. Kiser was definitely interference. Caught a break with kid from Georgia interfering with the official. Don't like those kinds of calls because they have absolutely nothing to do with the play. It's a rule though. Too many pre snap penalties for ND, kind of like Texas yesterday. Great win. Next.
Yeah? Well, I guess it was nothing then. Still, it was a string of painful penalties all in a row, every one consequential, and harmful to ND's prospects and fortunes. All in the fourth quarter, with the game slipping away, as if the refs were doing everything they plausibly could to help a brother out. But it looks like ND just got a little too fancy with all their shifting and motioning.

Yesssssssss

Thanks brother. I don’t care what happened in the playoffs/postseason, Indiana deserved to be in. 11-1 with 10 decisive victories is not easy to do.
Showing to be true the more these games unfold. Funny story. I moved into this neighborhood 3 years ago. Neighbor and I started hanging out this summer. When we started talking I told him and his dad(mad a bet) IU would win at least 6 games. I got laughed off the block. When the season started to unfold he bought an IU hat and he bought my son the notre dame season shirt. Little did we know they would play in the playoffs. Unreal season for both. Go Irish.

Can we talk about the effin refs?

Which one ? Gray was kind of tricky tacky. Kiser absolutely interfered. Gotta look for the ball. In the old days that was face guarding.
I think the Gray call was legit. He had a full squeeze/hold on the shoulder of the jersey. He knows better. The Kiser PI was so bad. And you don't have to turn your head to avoid PI.

I’m pessimistic about the game today

Rally sons of Notre Dame:
Sing her glory and sound her fame,
Raise her Gold and Blue
And cheer with voices true:
Rah, rah, for Notre Dame
We will fight in ev-ry game,
Strong of heart and true to her name
We will ne’er forget her
And will cheer her ever
Loyal to Notre Dame

Cheer, cheer for old Notre Dame,
Wake up the echoes cheering her name,
Send a volley cheer on high,
Shake down the thunder from the sky.
What though the odds be great or small
Old Notre Dame will win over all,
While her loyal sons
Are marching onward to victory.
Not only did we beat Georgia boys, we beat the SEC champion Georgia, who beat Texas twice by the way, 23 to 10 and completely ****ing dominated them

Ski…HAPPY?

Today’s game was the kind of game we’ve almost resigned ourselves to losing pre Foreman, and losing in a big way! No deer in the headlights by this team or these coaches. Can’t recall a ND defense that plays faster, or tackles better. SEC speed no longer an advantage. Gutsy play by the entire team, and gutsy coaching by Freeman. The stage is not too big for these guys! Damn I’m happy Tonight and hope you are as well.

We looked awesome tonight. No doubt

The thing is ND can be better. It's not an optimal O. But good enough given the D.

For some weird reason, I'm thinking the Chicago Bears in 1986. Winning on powerful D, good enough O.

ND has a staff, players, and formula to win it all.

Denbrock has time to still improve to get the O a bit more juice.

Game moved to Thursday Night

The victory by our Colonial Army is why we are an independent nation and have a Constitution.
Oh is that so? Why this is a revelation to me! I had no idea this was the case, take back everything I said and wash my ungrateful mouth out with soap! And I mean the real harsh and abrasive revolutionary soap without all the softeners and additives. I thought this whole time it was space aliens, and their allies in the fight, a massive Indian super army hopped up on peyote and a primitive version of speed made from dehydrated corn stalks soaked in rattlesnake brine mixed with beaver shavings. And they just overran the hated redcoats in a powwow frenzy with the aliens hovering above issuing laser blasts to clear the path for their assault on Yorktown. And GW and the rest of the founding fathers swooped in at the end and stole all the credit, after promising to share the land and live in perpetual peace and harmony if they would only help them rout the Brits back to England. And we know how that part of it turned out.

But thank you, sir. Thank you! I stand corrected. Corrected and edified.....

The 5-6-7-8 seeds make the

semifinals. I’m not surprised by the result either. Oregon had the toughest draw for a a top four seed, BSU and ASU shouldn’t be top four seeds and I thought ND had a real shot to beat UGA.

There is no way this format remains after 2025. I read the first two years are locked in and they can make changes after. Then I heard they can change format with a UNANIMOUS vote.

Notre Dame Nation: 37 years Since - So you say we have a Chance!!!

Notre Dame Nation:

What a game!!! This is a year that I will never forget - 13 wins so far. We can name so many players of the game, but this was indeed team glory at its' finest. I can't resist naming a few outstanding players - but have to credit the growth of Coach Freeman - Wow! Coach Golden - Superstar!!! My players are:

- The Notre Dame "Defense!"
- Riley Leonard
- Mitch Jeter (He's Back)
- Junior Tuihalamaka
- Adon Shuler
- Jack Keser
- RJ Oben
- Xavier Watts
- Jayden Harrison
- Jordan Faison
- Bo Collins

Wow! Wow!! Wow!!

What are your thoughts?

Go Irish!!!!!!

For those who know the rules

I don’t think it was supposed to be a penalty, but I’m curious considering how adamant Smart was that NDs 4th down swap shouldn’t have been allowed is true or not. My initial thought was maybe that isn’t allowed if the team becomes set first? I don’t know.
Yeah I was curious about that as well. He may have thought that they were set, but they actually weren't. You would think ND had already checked with refs pregame to make sure its a legal play.
