OT: High 4* QB Julian Lewis to Colorado (#35 overall player in the 247 composite)

He's building up a really nice resume really quickly:
  • Developed two likely top 10 NFL draft picks (Sanders & Hunter)
  • Turned around a program ranked in the 120s in F+ before he got there into a top 30 team in less than 2 seasons.
  • Might win a big 12 title this year and make the playoff.
  • Has pulled in several top 10 overall prospects in back to back to back classes (Travis Hunter, the OT they signed last year, Cormani McClain the year prior) and there are rumors of more coming in this class.

This can't be accurate. All the football prodigies on the board said Prime would suck at Colorado and never recruit top tier players.
I will admit I'm a bit surprised, not because I thought he was some punk or something. But only because he had very little coaching experience, and it just seemed very possible he wouldn't be successful. And now he's going to be in the playoff, maybe.

You know FSU is going to be tempted. Would help with recruiting, that's for sure.

Ranked when you played? Or seasons end?

It does matter, because in order to end up number one at the end of the season, you have to be one of the 12 teams selected for the playoffs, ergo ranking is important
Thanks for stating the obvious. Now what you don't understand is that the original post is asking what constitutes as a ranked win based on the the time you beat a team or the final ranking of a team at the end of a season. That's why I'm saying doesn't matter. It has nothing to do with the playoffs.

His recruiting kind of stinks. We'll see how he looks without his son. That will be the big test for him

Ole Miss & Georgia

Better than Ole Miss? that could be open soon. Florida, Bama, Michigan, USC, Oklahoma.

The SEC has the best 1-loss team and the two best 2-loss teams, see both polls and computers. All of those won good out of conference matchups early in the year. That is why the #5 seed is valuable and why it sucks that it is probably going to the loser of the BUGCG . The 5th seed will likely play Boise at home and then the Big12 champion (fringe top 20 Arizona St?) in the next round; dodging the strong SEC teams.
The big 10 has the best 1 loss team - Ohio State.

They do have the best 2 loss teams
