Wide Recievers

Michigan’s identity last season was running the football. Throwing the football was an afterthought.

And as well as Notre Dame recruits the OL-TE-RB position, IMO… ND’s identity needs to be running the football as well.
It will be. But they need to be able to throw the ball and become more explosive.

That's why MF brought in Mike Denbrock and why we are going after higher tier QBs.

Michigan will never have the luxury again of playing 9 straight cupcakes until they play a legitimate team. That was a one and done team that got fortunate as well they didn't see Georgia

Georgia could not beat Nick Saban.

That wasn’t Michigan’s fault.

I don't mind getting a little more explosive than we were last year. That would be good. But it can also be argued that it was turnovers, and not a lack of explosiveness, that did us in vs Louisville and Clemson. We made 8 turnovers between those 2 games, and most of them were Hartman interceptions. So simple things like taking care of the ball better we need to improve, as well.

I have no clue who the third WR is. How can anyone. The top of the WR depth chart is a lot of transfer portal, plus Faison and Greathouse.
And Thomas.

But that's my point. He said our 2 TE is better than our 3 WR. That's not true. The WRs could be excellent this year. A ton of depth and talent.

Laughable blaming Louisville and Clemson on Sam Hartman.

OC was lousy, the WR group was average at best and that’s a stretch, and ND could not run the football in those 2 games.

We ran the ball well against Clemson - 183 yds. We should've run more - Estime only had 17 carries for 87 yds and a touchdown. Hartman had a good season for us, but he had lousy games in both those games. Those were his 2 worst games of the season.

And part of it wasn't his fault - the pass rush was really getting to us in both those games. But we actually ran the ball well against Clemson.
